Poor Service & Long Delays: The restaurant wasn’t even busy, yet it took 20 minutes just to be seated, followed by a frustrating 40-minute wait for the food to arrive.
Terrible Food Quality: When the food finally got to the table, everything was merely lukewarm.
Tiny Portions & Poor Execution: The portions were incredibly small. The chicken breast looked poorly sliced up, and the sweet potato fries tasted like they were either frozen or microwaved leftovers—completely lacking any freshness.
Bottom Line: A thoroughly disappointing dining experience from start to finish. Definitely not worth the wait or the price.

We had a fabulous server named Devlin. He was very attentive and patient. We had parmesan chicken, great cheeseburger with fries, Clam Chowder Bowl with bread, La Crema Chardonnay wine, Caesar salad, California flatbread with chicken and avocado that was fabulous and the birthday boy topped it off with a Pizookie. I will make one suggestion the restaurant needs to dim the light that is right in people's face everybody was asking them to unscrew the light bulb because it was too bright. Also there was no lights on in the dark parking lot so when we walk to the back of that lot we used our phone light to see where we were going. Also the girls at the front desk were such a delight

This was a very disappointing dinner. Our pizza was cold and they didn't get the order right. The service was dreadful....we had to wait for plates for the pizza and the staff seemed annoyed that we asked for them. There was a very large noisy group next to us; when we asked if could be moved to another table, we were told that we would have to go back to the entrance and wait in line for a table to open up (this was after we had started on appetizers). The server promised to report our concerns to the manager, but no one came to the table to apologize and try to make things better. Horrible service! BJ's used to be a nice restaurant and we went there many times. We will NOT be going back!

They recently changed their menu and they didn't have the soba noodles that I was looking forward to :(

Old and run down place. Cold soup and fries and and sandwich bread so hard that it felt it’s a week old. In this day and age of rising living costs, they should have more respect than putting this low quality food in front of customers. Stay away!

I shared a Caesar salad that was good and also shared the pasta with sausage pepperoni and meatball, very tasty with the portion seems small to me!

After having a spectacular experience at the Bjs in San Diego Carlsbad, I would rate this spot almost as good 👍 Service was good, food came out quickly and the drinks were crispy and cold. You would be surprised how many restaurants give you like 2 cubes of ice for a 16 Oz cup of soda 😅 they were generous with the cubes here. Anyhoo, I ordered the Parmigian Chicken which was tasty. Only complaint was that it came with exactly 3 broccoli. I think they could have spared another. The ribs were cooked perfectly and according to my child, the kid's pasta was yummy. The clam chowder looked watery and sad. Salad was great - croutons passed the vibe check. Server was pleasant and prompt. Hooked us up with some to go sodas which rocks. Maybe next time ill try the Burbank spot, and peep their clam chowder. Will report next time!

Even with a reservation they made our party wait for 20 minutes before being seated. They kept saying they were getting our table ready. What's the point of a reservation? If I was 20 minutes late for my reservation, they would've turned me away. They need to get it together.

I am giving a 1 star because my sister and I ordered 2 pizookies for takeout this evening: one chocolate chunk and one strawberry shortcake. We drove 30 min to get to the restaurant and picked up our order at 10:30pm. We drove another 30 min to get home, dove right in, and the strawberry shortcake pizookie had no strawberries, no strawberry puree, nor any whip cream as it states in the description on the menu. It was literally a sugar cookie with vanilla ice cream. We are very disappointed with this. In addition, when we were about to walk away from the takeout counter after paying, the woman whom helped us had to double check the bag to be sure the ice cream was in there and it wasn’t. Therefore, she had to get it and then put it in the bag. I appreciate her catching that before we left, but there were still vital toppings missing anyways. This is not what we paid for.
