Unfortunately the only good thing we had was the wine. The onion soup had a layer of grease on the top, and it lacked depth of flavor. The Sole fish dish was bland and reminded us of fish fingers. The Steak was cooked well, but still chewy. The fries tasted of old oil and were over salted. The deserts were by far the biggest letdown. The profiteroles were chewy, were filled with an ice cream that was grainy, and served with a chocolate sauce that tasted burnt. The mousse was grainy and served with a whipped cream that tasted of cheap vanilla. The server was friendly, but we could tell did not have any training. Overall it was a disappointment.

Staff are friendly and attentive. I got the Duck a l'Orange. It wasnt too great and the portion is too small, especially considering the price point. It's way too loud inside with any more than 3 parties. I greatly wish that they had curtains, plants, or some sort of decor designed to absorb the noise, cause this place is like the inside of a drum and it was not a pleasant experience.

Such a wonderful restaurant. We had a very nice experience. The food was devine and service was top notch. We both had the prix fix meal. My husband had the short Boeuf Bourguignon which was delicious and so beautifully presented with delicious vegetables, and I had the Trout Almondine which was so fabulous, light, buttery and delicious. The desserts were exquisite. We had a “to die for” chocolate mouse and our other dessert was a delicious tart.

It's a nice restaurant, good food (not exceptional) and a nice atmosphere. Enjoyed the onion soup, However, trout almondine was quite ordinary, missing any kind of sauce (lemon ?) to perk up the taste. We will try again, hoping for improvement. I do remember having a wonderful lamb shank, but that was when the restaurant was located in Malibu.

We were really excited to try this place. The space is beautiful and the service was warm and attentive. I don’t think I’ve ever left a negative review before, but we left feeling genuinely disappointed. The soup came in a teacup with just a few spoonfuls, the salads were soggy and bland, and while the main course tasted good, it had only three small cubes of beef with a few vegetables. Dessert was also pretty average. For $120 for two people, it felt like a very expensive and underwhelming experience.

The place it’s lovely, parking it can be tricky. Tim was our server and he was great. On Thursdays it has 50% discount for the bottles of wine. I’m still not sure why this place it’s not more popular as it’s a great options for dates, very quiet, clean, and with awesome and interesting food. By servers recommendation I got the Chicken that it was really good, tho I would love more veggies on my plate, that’s a personal preference for was very well served. Def ill be back for the steak and frites

Duel Bistro is an absolute gem! The food is inventive, beautifully plated, and full of flavor — the steak frites and trout were standouts. The sauces are incredible. The ambiance is upscale yet relaxed, and the service is spot-on. It’s the kind of place that feels special without being stuffy. Woodland Hills finally has a true fine dining destination!

We went for our 40th anniversary on Bastille Day and the food and service was absolutely marvelous. I got the flight of wines with my dinner and they were all very very good. Apparently the owner is the sole local distributor of some of these wines. And I'm not kidding, the wines were very good.

Great experience at Deux Bistro! The food was delicious (authentically French), the staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and accommodating when we showed up hours early to our reservation after a change of plans. The manager, Lucas, runs this amazing spot conveniently located right on Ventura Blvd in Woodland Hills. The background music was fantastic as well (classic soulful tunes played at the perfect level!). was We'll definitely be back. You should, too! And when you do, don't leave without trying a dessert, they're to die for!
