This is very disappointing, the costumer service here sucks. The owners are very nice but they need to fire this girl at the front named Mia. She is rude and when she was taking my order she was on her phone talking with her AirPod in and continuing to talk on her phone while making my coffee. Very unprofessional.

Just happened to stumbled upon this cute little bakery. The customer service I received from Mia was top notch! I was so confused by all the delicious stuff I didn't know what I wanted but Mia went absolutely above and beyond and definitely made me want to try everything! Thanks to Mia I will definitely be back

The white chocolate coconut cake is amazing! AKA The Tom Cruise Cake! The cake is moist, frosting is perfectly sweetened and the amount of coconut on the cake was perfect too! We have purchased this cake many times and it does not disappoint. Everyone loves it! The lemon bars are also delicious! The crust was perfect! We also enjoy supporting a small neighborhood business. Check their hours because they are limited.

Best cakes available in the area. They are in a class of their own. Personalized service. The family is continuing the quality and service she provided to the community. She was an incredible baker. We miss her. But her cakes and pastries live on

Amazing white coconut cake (Tom Cruise). I drove from HB just for this cake. I will be back when I get the craving for the cake.

Called to try and place an order and female hung up on me!! She said “service or delivery”. I asked what that meant. Yes, I want a cake delivered but what’s the “service” about? Well at least I saved $ would’ve spent on 2 cakes. Think of all that free publicity they would have received from me. Obviously, they don’t need any more business so can afford to be rude!

I bought the famous white chocolate coconut Tom Cruise cake ($8 for the mini bundt). I had pretty high expectations, everyone who's tried it seems to think it was really great, even people who didn't like coconut. Ultimately, there's not much flavor aside from sugar, tbh. Too many coconut flakes, they didn't really add anything, imo, just a bunch of coconut thrown in for texture. The cake is super sweet. The frosting reminds me of store bought in it's level of sweetness, it's texture and consistency. I didn't expect it, I guess I've gotten used to the Asian-style cakes that are not as sweet. The cake actually tasted better without all the coconut and I wonder if maybe a little coconut frosting might've been more flavorful. The cake itself was pretty dense, not pillowy as described, and again, kind of reminded me of store bought, it was just a plain cake and I guess it's actually supposed to be a coconut cake? There was not coconut flavor to it. The white chocolate pieces on the bottom were good, though. All in all, I wonder if Tom Cruise is trolling everyone because this cake is not as great as his celeb friends make it seem, or fellow Yelpers have said. It's too sweet and there isn't really any discernable flavor.

I've been a costumer for a couple of years and I love their cakes and pastries. Unfortunately I came by a couple of times recently and one of the girls at the front desk was giving me attitude the times I went. She was rolling her eyes when I asked her for utensils and then she went on her phone, I think she had blue eyes. The other girl was nice and she helped me get a happy birthday on a cake.

The most amazing coconut cake! And I hate coconut, but NOT Doan's. It's magical. It is an unassuming place with a truly delicious coconut cake. Do they have anything else? I don't know because I can't get enough of the coconut cake.

The Famous Tom Cruise’s White chocolate coconut Bundt cake . Loved it!! Not too sweet & I enjoyed the cream cheese frosting with the coconut flakes. A few of my guests thought the cake was a bit dry , but I didn’t mind it . It didn’t take away the deliciousness of the cake.

I happened to be passing and had always wanted to try because of all the hype. I didn’t know what to expect, and when I walked in 3 young employees were doing their own thing, no greeting, no warmth, no reaction. I decided to go with the individual White Chocolate icing Chocolate Bundt cake, not the famous Coconut, as I’m not much of a coconut fan. I was slightly surprised by the $8 price, well maybe not that surprised. It’s got to be amazing to warrant that price.I got home and tried it immediately with a nice hot nespresso. I was so disappointed it was SO dry. The icing was nice, smooth and great flavor. But the Bundt, was, so dry! Had my 14yr old & husband try without my review and they both said the same thing. Will not be going back for sure.

Cake was very dry. I was disappointed since it cost $125 plus $20 shipping. I paid the price that Brad Pitt pays but I didn't get the quality cake.
