Enjoyed the food and service was good . I would go back . Like most places a bit expensive for what you get but their rent is high due to location I'm sure so it's acceptable . Calamari is a must have there .

It has been a long time since we visited. And like always, it was never a dull moment. We enjoyed our favorite dishes, too. We'll return soon to try something new on the menu.

For an Italian restaurant, the menu did not have enough Italian pasta classics. Lovely ambience, prices shockingly high and a ridiculous additional 3% added on to the bill for “employee programs” because costs are so high. Just have your prices reflect your costs!

Francisco was wonderful. Knowledgeable on food & drinks. Fabulous surprise birthday dessert for my friend& congrats to the chef on the Sole! So delicious! Great night dining there.

The food here was really good... We had a pear and Gorgonzola salad. We had the chicken and mushroom pasta. Both were excellent.

Great restaurant, excellent food. This wasn't our first time there. We go to Il Formaio once in a while and always leave happy. Inside sitting is beautiful. We stayed at the outside patio yesterday and it was nice. I would definitely recommend this place, it's my number one restaurant choice at Woodland Hills.

Took my brother and his wife for his birthday. My brother and I had the scallops and prawns - delicious! My sister-in-law had the bronzino and she enjoyed it very much. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Nice ambience.

I've been coming to this restaurant for years and have always appreciated the warm, friendly, and professional service-our server last night was truly excellent. Unfortunately, the food was a letdown this time.The minestrone soup had no taste, and I wish the chef had sampled it before adding it to the menu. Perhaps the chef on duty last night wasn't the usual one, as the quality didn't match past experiences. The Rigatoni Alla Vodka Pasta was also disappointing and lacked flavor. The Pappardelle Bolognese , Tiramisu and Affogato was excellent . Bravo ! I was very sad when the Pasadena location closed, but grateful this branch remains open .For longtime fans, please make the soup and vodka pasta more flavorful to bring back the taste we came to love. Service remains a highlight , but the kitchen needs attention . Thank you.

Food was OK for the price, there were lots of table left but they seated up so close to other tables and it was not the most comfortable since we had to squeeze into the chairs. All and all, it was OK.

We absolutely love this place we are greeted so warmly by the staff. We totally recommend this place, the food is amazing.

Beautiful place, that I usually will try to enjoy dinner there when in Los Angeles. Seating immediately at my reservation time I made. Service was prompt as usually, menu hasn't changed but still excellent choice's. Order recommended wine from list and it was spot on perfect. Food is so good, and went with a seafood pasta dish with red sauce. Definitely large portions, and served hot. Price are good for the quality, and quantity you will receive. I will return again when in Los Angeles!!!

Il Fornaio is always a fool-proof choice for a really nice dinner. There were 5 of us, but I will only comment on my food. However, the others all appeared to be enjoying what they ordered. My entree was scallops and shrimps on a round risotto cake. It is a light meal so you may want to start with a salad or appetizer. I've done so in the past and all were terrific. This time I took advantage of my light meal and ordered dessert. It was called a Napoleon, but it did not resemble the French version in any way. It was a perfect end to my meal.

Reservation was a 2pm. Receptionist was aware of who we were. Given choice of table as I wanted a quiet place to talk. Waiter was interactive, very attentive and helpful. We were given the time and space. Food was excellent and plentiful. I will return again soon.

The venue is beautiful, the food was fantastic and the service was outstanding. And the prizes were reasonably... I didn't know such place still exist. We had a great time and hoping for more future visits
