Used to be A great place to buy wonderful meats. Now it is just a place that used to be. I bought a beef loin and put it in the refrigerator and 2 days later I opened the package and found that was rancid the new owner told me Never going back. 80$ in the trash
They have the best fish. And it's competitively priced too.
I ordered something over the phone, and they said to come in the next day and would leave a note. When I arrived the next day after driving 30 minutes here, they had no clue what my order was and had nothing available.
There are no better sandwiches anywhere around Canoga Park.
This place used to rock. I got everything from porterhouse steaks and thanksgiving turkeys to sandwiches and bones for my dogs. The guys behind the counter were helpful and friendly. Something's changed. The last couple of times have been a disaster. The new manager must have been trained at the DMV. It's a shame.
I’ve been shopping here for at least 20 years, buying wonderful and fresh poultry, meats and fish. However, there seems to be new management now and the quality is not what it used to be. The last two times I bought chicken from Jim’s Market, I got home and had to bring it right back because it smelled horrific. It was rancid! I had to convince the new manager to smell it himself. In fact, I plan to stop shopping here and that makes me sad. I hope they can make some much needed changes to this previously wonderful and high-quality local market.
Definitely not what it used to be. Will the latest owners/management put it on the upward bound?!
This place is awesome- a little expensive but worth every penny 👍🏾

There aren't a lot of these little neighborhood markets around anymore. Check out Jims's and you will understand why they get five stars!
Tried to order a turkey last year and they told me the best they could do was 14 pounds. I have been ordering turkeys here for 20 years. They changed owners a few years ago the place is not the same. Used to get 30 pounds plus from old owners. Won't be back. Waste of my time.
The best twice baked Potatoes in the galaxy...And the Spish Lazanya is Divine...❤️
