This was the second worst dining experience of my life. I waited weeks until entering this review to ensure that I could provide as unbiased a review as possible given my situation.tl;dr version: I paid over the phone in advance, and the restaurant gave my order to the wrong person. When I tried to pick up my food, they told me that someone who could "barely speak English" (their words) picked up my food and unapologetically interrogated me, implying that I was trying to steal from them (my first language is English). They tried not to give me my food, but I was ultimately successful.Google reviews has a character count, so you can see my full review on Yelp.

The Ghormeh sabzi here is probably one of the best’s I’ve tried in LA!

Ordered food online to be delivered and was really disappointed that they didn't follow my requests. I specifically asked for extra sumac seasoning and butter but only found one of each for each person. What's the point of putting in addition requests or directions if they're not being followed?! Also was disappointed in the beef koobideh because it was too moist and too soft for me. First time trying this time and I was kinda disappointed overall.

My pet peev with most Persian restaurants is atmophere, cleanliness, and ambiance; however, I was pleasantly surprised when walking into Kourosh Restaurant! The simplicity and elegance in the decor, a large eye-catchng chandelier, and beautiful decor welcomes you to one of the best Persian food restaurants in the SFV. Upon being seated, we were served freshly baked traditional Persian bread. Our server was very kind and tried her best to accomodate our orders. I was impressed with the ghormeh sabzi stew (herb stew) and Ghaimeh (tomato base beef stew); robust with flavor and quantity, I was pleasantly surprised. The ground beef and filet mignon were juicy, tender and absolutely delicious! The rice was slightly cold which made it hard for the butter to melt; but the kabobs were served hot. The owner visited our table serveral times to assure good service and food. Attention to detail is key and Kourosh Restaurant delivers.

I tried this restaurant today for the first time and I was beyond impressed! I ordered the lamb shank to go and not only was it delicious but it was still warm and tasted so fresh even though we had it an hour and half later! Their packaging is super unique which made the meat stay super fresh and warm. The woman who took my order was super sweet, kind, professional and patient and honestly you don't find that often these days. I'll definitely be back - my new fav Persian food spot in the valley :).

Outstanding service outstanding food. My wife and I enjoyed yet another great meal at Kourosh Restaurant, this time we took it to go. We enjoyed their chicken kebabs, which were tasty, tender and flavorful. We now eaten there serval time and have learned that consistency matters. These guys are great weather your dining in or taking it to go. We highly recommend checking out this wonderful restaurant.

The food was really good and just the right size portion. The ground chicken and ground beef was juicy and the rice was cooked right. I wasn't able to eat it all so I'll take it home for snacking. We dined in so I can't comment about the delivery service. Try dining inside, I think you'll like it

One of my favorite places to order lunch. I don't have to worry about spillage with the sealed containers! I love that I can choose the type of rice I want when I order my stew as some other places default to just the plain rice. I love the ghormeh sabzi here and one order is enough for 3 meals with rice. I mostly just get takeout so I can't speak for the ambiance here but the folks here always get my order right.

Ordered takeout, but the place is pleasant and beautiful inside! A kindly proprietor proferred my order quickly and with all the trimmings (bread and onion). The zereshk polo and lamb is phenomenal!

The food is ok, but service is subpar to the point of bad. The owner definitely has no concept of customer service. Would not recommend.

I love Kourosh! I dine in or take out about once a month. And we continue to to do so because my family loves this restaurant, simple as that. The owner is a very friendly man. This is also a small business but so it's vital that we keep helping and supporting him. The food is great, I love the salad, the rice, the tahdig, the gormeh sabzi, and my absolute favorite; the chicken and beef koubideh. The food is terrific. Inside the restaurant it's very nice and warm. Overall, Kourosh is a fantastic restaurant that I will keep dining into!
