Have been here for the fourth year now, a local sushi spot that I'll go to when I crave for decent sushi locally without having to travel far/make reservations/breaking my bank!A quaint sushi place with sushi chefs making sushi infront of you if you are seating at the bar. However, not sure since when, their system has changed a little. Instead of a few older sushi chefs stationed at the bar area, I only saw one older Japanese chef and the other 2/3 young chefs just pushing out nigiri sushis. Their servers are pretty good and attentive, a little language barrier but use of basic english to communicate does the trick. Took some time to get our check and get my card back after, but otherwise everything is decent.

A go-to sushi spot for me. This restaurant is on the smaller side so it feels more intimate. The chefs and wait staff are super friendly. You can't go wrong with whatever you order. The fish is always super fresh. My favorite cut here is the bluefin tuna; it's soft and delicate like a fatty tuna but without the fat.

What a pleasant surprise. You have to know what to order they have specialty rolls and flavored sashimi. What a disappointment.Update. Can't say the food was no good but haven't been here in 5 years I got there 10 minutes before they open, there was a line. They are not policing their line although somebody from the restaurant was standing outside observing the crowd. Because four people added themselves to their friends who were waiting in line I got stuck waiting for about 20 minutes because of those four people who were not waiting in line. After 20 minutes I decided to leave.

Absolutely delicious, fresh sushi! Everything we ordered was a hit! My favorites were the albacore w/crispy onion, toro, and jumbo scallop. The service was quick and friendly as well which I appreciate!

The sushi was fresh & tasty, but for the prices, I was expecting to be blown away. I was told that this location is no longer owned by Brothers Sushi, Ventura at Canoga. The Sushi was also very pricey there, but tastier, more artfully plated, & the ambience much prettier.

Do not go here. Very rude staff. Rude hostess/server plus you’ve got sushi guys that are dismissive and rude! It’s not about food. Food is ok. Just rude and no concept of customer service. The times posted online is also false. They would deny that they posted it. So skip this place!!!

They are rudest people ever. Yelp and Google says that they close at 9:30 on Wednesdays. Came in at 8:30 and they are already closed. When showed them that it is posted that they close at 9:30, they were so rude and said that they have nothing to do with Yelp or any internet. People were there dining. There were 2 tables available. The servers/ hostess and the sushi guys won't take anymore customers because they said that it will delay their shutting down. If the owner reads this... you better consider a new whole staff! This place needs to be cancelled. Period. It's not like the ambiance is great. Its such a small place. Just maybe 3 -4 tables and a sushi bar. Do not go here!

Fabulous! We will be regulars! Took the advice and got there before they opened. Once the line of people were seated, which pretty much filled up the place, anyone trying to get in was waiting an hour. This on a Friday night. We really loved the quality as well as the price. Good service and good food. What more can you ask for?

I used to go twice a week long time ago and it was delicious, I went yesterday and every body still there and the food was more delicious than before because we haven't been there in 4 years and I missed there sushi I wish this place is little closer to me then I would go back to to twice a week anyway it a treat yesterday

Great little sushi spot! Almost always has a line. I’m not sure what it is about the place but I’ve met the nicest people there every time I’ve come. Decent prices, and good size portions. Very tasty. I’ve only had a few dishes but I’ve enjoyed everything so far. Will continue coming back for more!
