Came here the other night with my partner for karaoke night and spent on 3 drinks and the bartender charged me for double. 60$ for 3 drinks is insane.

Never experienced this during my many years coming here. Was definitely robbed of my money. Be sure to stay away from this place if you don’t want your stolen

I am writing this review because I am so angry about what happened here yesterday night Sunday 11/24/24. I have not stopped thinking about it. My boyfriend and I arrived here last night Sunday 11/24 close to 12am. Mind you that’s less than 2 hours for alcohol. My boyfriend kept a tab open at the bar while he did karaoke. He got 3 vodka redbulls. I ended up buying 1 Mai Tai but paid for it with my card which I closed out right away. We even ordered a pizza that tasted absolutely terrible. Well when it came down to the end of the night for us after his last song he went to close out his tab. The bartender was charging him for 6 vodka redbulls. He told me and we tried to tell her it was only 3 he ordered and she refused to believe she made a mistake. She told me he got one of my drinks so he technically had 5 for himself. Mind you I PAID FOR MY OWN DRINK. She claims I had TWO drinks. I only had ONE I bought myself which I explained to her. I even have it in my bank statement. I also told her to play back the cameras because I know she was in the wrong. I know my boyfriend only had 3 drinks because I was drinking out of each drink until I got my own which was when he got his 3rd. It turned into a huge scene and my boyfriend felt so embarrassed he just decided to pay it because of the uncomfortable situation which was not okay. He should not have been pressured to pay for 3 extra drinks he did not get. Plus if he had 6 drinks in less than two hours he would have been trashed. Sucks because at the end of the day this was a cool little spot to do karaoke. It’s unfortunate we had a bad experience with a bartender that doesn’t seem to keep tabs very well. Either that or she forgot to charge other customers for drinks and decided to throw it on my boyfriend’s tab to avoid getting chewed out. Regardless I hope karma gets her back. I’ve worked in customer service for years and as an employee if someone felt wrongfully charged I would have gotten my manager to come sort it out as well as play back the cameras to show the customer otherwise that way they wouldn’t feel like we wronged them. I think she probably knows she could have been wrong and didn’t want to admit to it. She even ended up giving us each a vodka shot. If she was certain she was in the right why would she give us free vodka shots after giving her a “hard time”? It honestly felt like a slap in the face. Like “oh sorry I charged you for 3 drinks you did not get here’s 2 vodka shots to make you feel better”. It was my first time here and the experience was fun until this incident. TO ALL FUTURE CUSTOMERS: CLOSE OUT YOUR TABS RIGHT AWAY TO AVOID BEING CHARGED FOR DRINKS YOU DID NOT GET

This place is cheesy! They have same dirty, smelly carpet for years! Once you enter to this place, you can smell it! Owner needs to remodel, change tables, carpet! and the outside!

Entering the restaurant, unpleasant smell but good, I was hoping that the food would be delicious but the service was FATAL. THE FOOD was FATAL. My friend ordered some calamari and they didn't have it. We ordered a pizza with bacon and pereroni and we didn't order lasagna and THEY DID NOT HAVE THEM. I couldn't believe it. He recommended the pasta with Meat balls and spaghetti salad, the raw meat balls, the pasta came mixed with fettuccine, disgusting margherita, pizza that was too thick. Seriously, I will never go back and I would never recommend it. I only give it one star because it doesn't let me give it any less pity.

We were shocked they changed their pizza and now its best in LA. Paolis' deep dish pizza was so good we were not prepared for what we got. Definitely the best in LA hands down winner and at affordable lower prices than other places for comparable size. But there is no comparable taste and quality in our opinion. The whole family agreed and they are a tough bunch to please.

I have been going here since 2020 and it has been one of my favorite pizza spots so much so that I get the white sauce and I hate white sauce pizzas usually. However unfortunately the last 2 times I have gotten a burnt pizza that is half unedible and for the last 3 times has been an entirely new staff each time. I used to recommend this place to all my uber riders but no longer after tonight as this will be the last time I go here unfortunately.

I always get the deep dish pizza and it's always good! Staff is always really friendly even when busy! The only thing is it depends on what type of atmosphere you like. It's a very lively place!

Something changed I dunno what happened in the past couple months but it's obvious there's a change in staff, karaoke mgt, and possibly cooks

I've been going here for 4 years and I always get the Same two topping pizza and wings

Ive always loved both, I know the ingredients are the Same but I dunno if they switched ownership or what because the food was disappointing

If you're looking for a great dive bar with history and great people watching, come to this spot! They're open until 2am everyday and even better....they host karaoke everyday.???

I usually go here in the evenings to sing or to watch the other singers. You'll have a great time with friends!

Parking: There are usually free meters if you go in the evening.

Food is good and employees are nice. Their online ordering was a LOT more user friendly but something has changed and they make mistakes on the orders at times. Also no delivery.
