I stopped by here because I took my wife next door to Western Bagel and then she wanted her Chai latte from Paris Baguette. My wife loves their Chai Latte so since we were next door, she couldn't resist. We came in the early morning so they were not busy at all. Finding parking in the plaza this place is in was easy but exiting is the hardest part because many cars are trying to make a left turn onto Ventura. When we walked in, my wife was able to put in her order for the Chai Latte right away and they made the drink quick compared to the Northridge location. I looked at their pastries options and they looked good but I was already full. I also looked at their cakes and macrons and they have some good selection. We ate our bagel from next door inside here and it's a relaxing environment.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options hereParking: There are a lot of parking spots hereKid-friendliness: This place is definitely kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: This place is wheelchair accessible

Interviewing here had to have been one of the most unprofessional and inconvenient interview processes I have ever gone through.I had an interview scheduled for 9:15 AM on a Thursday. I was on time, as a matter fact, I was a little early. I went to the cashier and asked for Veronica. She was the one I’d spoken to on the phone, and had given me that time to come in for an interview. However, I quickly noticed the first unprofessional thing. The person who was doing the interviews, Eric, was not even in the establishment.Veronica did not even contact Eric until two other interviewees came in.I ended up waiting over an hour and a half to do an interview. Not only did I have to wait an hour and a half to even get an interview, the interview itself was extremely unprofessional and felt rushed.I was told to write my experience and availability down on a piece of paper as well as my contact information. When Eric came to give me my interview, I attempted to shake his hand. It was almost as if he rejected my handshake, and gave me the most unprofessional handshake I’ve ever been given in my entire life. Not only did he give me the weakest handshake, he didn’t even take the time to get to know me as a person nor ask me anything about my experience or availability. He only skimmed over the paper, waited roughly around 30 seconds, and simply told me that the training would be within the next two weeks, and that if they wanted me, they would call me.I didn’t even receive a thank you.Do not apply to this establishment or interview here ever.

Let me start by saying this. Honestly I have never been to this place all of my experiences have been through delivery orders. The first time I ever ordered from this place it was so good and decently priced I was very excited to find a new little cafe/bakery that makes good quality products. I ordered a few weeks later and wondered what happened. I assumed they had a really stressful day or they were busy or whatever (as someone who works customer service specifically at a coffee shop I understand those days) so I didn’t really think much of the fact that my order was completely wrong. I didn’t throw a fit because there are bigger problems in the world you know? So, being one of my favorite little gems to order from.. I gave them another chance this morning! I had a craving for it. I ordered my usual sandwich, pastry, and coffee. I also ordered my vegetarian partner an egg salad sandwich and a pastry. Not only did they give me the wrong sandwich but they also gave me a chicken salad sandwich instead of egg salad. So, not only did I not get the sandwich I ordered but my partner who doesn’t eat meat couldn’t eat their sandwich. The pastry my partner ordered was also wrong. So this entire order was a bust. I may be nit picking here because of the other issues but the coffee I ordered was also not great. Now keep in mind I also make coffee for a living and serve it to sometimes ungrateful people. I’m not typically one to complain unless it’s horrible. With that said the coffee looked like it was thrown together. There were 3 separate layers. Syrup, milk, espresso. Now, I have functioning hands.. I can stir but it was just kind of the icing on the cake. You know? I want to experience this place in person because you always have more control over the situation if you’re doing that but I pack delivery orders of food and drinks all day… there are so many ways to avoid this type of situation.I’ve noticed the leadership at this location tends to be responsive and actually reads these so I have a suggestion. If you’re out of something there are a handful of options you can choose from to handle the situation. 1. (This only works if you’re able to directly reach out to the person who ordered if not then disregard) call the person who ordered and tell them you’re out of the thing they ordered ahead of time. That level of customer service will improve your reviews and numbers so much more than you’d think. 2. Wait until the delivery driver comes to pick up the order and have them reach out to the person who ordered to let them know you’re out of the items they ordered. 3. (And this is arguably the most overlooked but BEST option if the others don’t work) WRITE. A. NOTE. Seriously. As a customer if I had gotten just a little “sorry! We’re out of these things! :(“ note or something like that I wouldn’t have even written this entire book of a review. I promise I am not trying to deter anyone from going to this establishment. They just need some serious training on customer service, communication, quality control, or all of the above.

I ordered a birthday cake in a very short notice and when I got there, they were apologetic because they didn't have the staff who writes the "Happy Birthday" and to compensate, they gave me a birthday candle for free! Win-win situation!

The food is fresh and delicious - my favorite is the chicken salad sandwich. Pastries are excellent too! Nice clean and welcoming restaurant -- highly recommend!!

The manager is asleep at this place. It's dirty and a mess and it's nearly brand new. The management is going to run it to the ground. Why even bother to open and place if you are going to show no interest in keeping it up and making it comfortable for customers. As I can see from other reviews, everyone gets a generic response from someone running this page who obviously has not taken any of these reviews to heart. Best of luck. You are gonna need it to stay in business.

Will not be ordering from here again! I ordered a chocolate cake for my dad's birthday to be picked up the next day. Not only did they not have the cake I had ordered but I had to pay extra for another cake they had on hand which I needed to wait until they were done. I'm done with this place.
