Amazing sushi hidden gem. The fish is incredibly fresh. I usually do not eat sashimi my friend is a local and he recommended I tried and I'm glad I did. tuna Toro, tuna belly, salmon scallops were all wonderful. On weekends they have music. They do sake time shots.Parking: Small parking in front

This was my first time here. I ordered teriyaki chicken lunch special and vegetable tempura. The tempura was okay, but not the best. I didn't care for the chicken teriyaki, dry. I probably won't be going back. The service was okay. It was expensive for the portion size.

The sushi roll was good, but overpriced. The customer noise level is way too excessive -. The guitarist though was awesome! Service was good.

My friend and I stopped by early afternoon on a Saturday. We were the only customers at the time. The waitress was attentive and she was cautious for us when it came to ensuring we ordered the right spice level for each of us.I got the Tom Yum soup with chicken and an albacore roll. The soup was really good, I would rate it a 8 personally, I did have to ask for more spicy additive as we started off with the medium hot, but I love spice. The roll was not the best albacore I have had, but I would give it a 7-7.5, my friend had a Spicy Tuna Roll and a Wonton soup. She liked her items and I was surprised to see the Wonton Soup looked pretty hardy, different from very plain Wonton Soups I have seen or had. Also, this place does give off a beautiful ambiance with more of a low light setting inside and the beautiful lighting pictured.I would say this restaurant is pretty solid, with good customer service, and good items.

I have been coming to Red Ginger for over 20 years. This is one of the best places that serves Sushi and Thai food and is considered to be the one of the "Cheers" in LA. Once you know "Jack" you become one of the regulars or "family". The food is exceptional and made with the utmost care. The fish is fresh, creative and reasonable. They also have an extensive Thai menu, which is delicious and never disappoints. They have a jazz musician that plays every Friday and Saturday night. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Long live the success of Red Ginger.
