On June 15, 2025 around 4:56 PM, I ordered a Taro Smoothie Cream with Brown Sugar Boba at this location. I am a dark-skinned Black woman, and the moment I walked in, the female employee — who had been laughing and joking with her coworker — suddenly became cold, rude, and visibly annoyed by my presence.

I requested a tea-based drink. She refused at first, until the male employee whispered to her to just use the tea base. She made it reluctantly, with a lot of ice, and only poured half the blender into the cup, discarding the rest. But the most disturbing part is this: she walked to the back of the store with my drink in hand at least three separate times, and turned her face directly into the cup each time before returning. Not once. Not vaguely. Three times. I will never forget the sight of her head turning downward into my drink. There was no need for that.

I tried to sip it to avoid conflict, but it was so watered down and strange that I went back in and asked for it to be remade. They refused. I pointed out the change in attitude from when I walked in to how I was now being treated. Instead of addressing my concerns, they dismissed them and offered a refund instead. I accepted the refund and threw the drink away in their trash can before leaving.

By the next day I was coughing and had stomach pain, which has now lasted over two weeks. I have not eaten out since this incident. I strongly believe something was done to my drink. I’ve filed a complaint with the LA County Health Department and am sharing this to protect others.

If something feels off — trust that. I wish I had. I regret drinking anything from this place. I hope accountability follows.

The boba here was great. They had a lot to choose from on the menu. Employees were helpful and friendly. The parking lot can be a little crazy especially in peak times. I recommend the tropical fruit tea.

Went here for the first time. I gotta say it was the best Boba I have ever had. I ordered the Galaxy Sunrise. It had an awesome flavor. Super unique and the drinks come in the best quality cups I have seen at a Boba joint. I also like how you could customize everything about your drink down to how much sugar you wanted in it. Now I will crave this tea drink every-time I get the hankering for Boba. Highly recommend this spot!

The drink is fine not too bad. But I have ordered online. I had an offer to add boba for $1.80 but they seem to have forgotten to add extra boba for me : (

After ordering a $40+ dollar order, drinks were put in a cardboard holder where apparently was cut, as I turned around all 4 drinks fell, I was charged 50% to reorder again, after trying to get intouch with management a few times by phone and social media, no return call or msg. Lucky I don't live in CA, in Las Vegas we have many boba places if any of them were like this they would not last more than a month. Drinks were average and service horrible, I wish I could have given -1 star. Never going back there again when In Cali and my nieces who told me about the place already have found another location.
