Got in with a coworker an hour before closing (closes at 9) and the restaurant was sectioned off, bar open. Every table in the bar was empty, but filthy. The seating at the bar was full. We were deliberately ignored by the waiter in the restaurant. After 10 minutes my coworker went to grab a bar towel to clear a table and the barkeep took over. She apologized profusely for being so busy. She brought out guac as an apology. The salsa had great flavor and the guac was good, too....
High prices, food is okay but $6 taco? Just because an ex felon movie actor owns it should not be a reason to charge double. Service is ok, just can't get over the high prices for average food. Probably won't be back as it's difficult to park in a gated lot and you have to walk a way to get there and you have to validate your ticket or pay. If you like to waste money then you might enjoy it, but not for me.
I've met Danny. Cool dude. Wanted to try out the tacos. Carnitas was my fav. Baja fish was trying to hard. Anyway, won't be going back. Not worth $5-6 per taco. Friendly staff. Clean place.
