We decided to give this place a try since the reviews were good. There is a good amount of parking and lots of tables inside. Some music was playing and there was a jukebox. However, I was extremely disappointed and not sure how people found the food to be so good. The portions are a good size, we ordered a taco de carnitas, taco de papas, breakfast burrito and menudo. My main reason for going is because I was searching for a place with some good menudo. The menudo came out piping hot with homemade corn tortillas. Tortillas were good but the menudo had NO flavor it was sooo bland it tasted like water. My tacos had no salt and were also bland. The salsa was watery. My husband said his burrito was ok but nothing he would go back to order. The service was good and the waitress was really nice which is why I am giving it a few stars I'm hoping it was maybe an off day for the cook. But unfortunately I won't try it again. Also FYI- They charge 4% if you pay with card but give a 4% discount if you pay with cash.

Food is fire and pretty cheap for what you get. Birria tacos were amazing. Chicken tacos while not on that same level still really good. While on the other hand it looked rather downbeaten and small menus customer service and the food made up for the looks.

I came here on a Saturday afternoon with some friends. We were very hungry and looking for quick brunch when we found this place. We decided to try it out so this can maybe be our hidden gem. We came inside, and our first impressions were great. Nice layout, atmosphere, and not to many people. We immediately got greeted by a waitress and got seated. She gave us menus and, after a while, asked what we wanted to drink. She then came back a while later with our drinks and some chips and salsa. She asked if we were ready to order. We all asked for Carne Asada Fries and asked for them specifically not to have any jalapeño. She came back a while later and put the food in front of each of us. She then asked if everything was fine, and we said it was. We opened the box, and my lord, the presentation was nice. Except, there was jalapeños, and lots. That didn't matter, though, as they were on the side of the food. The food was very good and well seasoned. Overall, great experience. Would come again.

I ordered tacos (pastor, shrimp, and quesabirria) and an horchata (so good!). ? everything was full of flavor, the shrimp taco sauce and pastor are ?. Next time, I'll be sure to ask for consome, to fry up my quesabirria taco a little longer and add cilantro. It was my first visit and I'll be back!

New in Woodland and a nice surprise. Our group of 10 (unannounced) ate there recently. Woodland is known for great Mexican food, but this place was exceptional. Most places serve Mole Poblano with chunks of chicken chopped up in a dish, but this place serves it traditional with full pieces of chicken. Tortillas were perfect and other dishes that we ordered including taco or burrito plate were exceptional. They know how to cook and take the time to present it with pride. Order took a little bit longer, but the dishes were made fresh. Separate checks for all ten. No problem, waitress was friendly and accommodating. I think she really likes her job. Place is well lit, not fancy but great food.

Food is great. The home made tortillas are wonderful. I'd say this is the best Mexican food in Woodland.
