Unfortunately, I wrote all that before I found out that there's an addendum in a caveat about the 2468 menu that necessitates that you purchased another item with a similar or a higher value. First. That's what's known as a BOGO or a buy one get one. It is not what is known as a value menu. Though it does have value to it. Anyway, if they can get their terminology back. They will be back to the old days where they were trustworthy, reliable, and also incredibly tolerant and patient to all kinds of people from all kinds of walks of life. There's also a note that one of their menus it says at the beginning of a small worded area which says upgrade to And then the terminology for 299. This suggests that someone is going to look at the 'for 2.99' and not look at the upgrade to for a $17 or more dish. I understand it is very difficult to survive and everyone is struggling to survive the struggle, be they making minimum wage or four or five times as much. It is still difficult for anyone to have a spouse, two kids, a mortgage and a savings.
What follows was my old review before I was able to come in and see unfortunately how it's been working out lately.
I've gone to Denny's at all times of day throughout all years of my life. I can't say that I've ever had a bad experience that was caused by anyone other than myself. The food is amazing. The staff is always wonderful and otherwise a great establishment.

Got my food within a reasonable amount of time. No complaints!
We went for a late lunch on The 4th of July, at this poorly managed Dennys. As usual at this Dennys, no staff member was at the check in area, so we waited. When a waitress finally appeared, we were seated in the front section and the waitress said she would be back to take our drink order. (We didn’t question this, but why not take the drink order right then??) After a considerable wait, she finally returned to take our drink order, but after 20 minutes we still had no drinks! We got up and went to a decent restaurant with server’s that aren’t brain dead. It’s amazing that this Dennys would have a waitress as incompetent as this.
