41 years of life, 22 years of military service, and over 25 countries later — I’ve lived on the East Coast, spent time in Japan, and now reside in San Diego. I’ve had donuts from Aliquippa, PA, to San Antonio, New Orleans, LA, and Seattle. I've had Canadian donuts, East Asia donuts, I've had a French Cruller in Paris, the largest yeast donut in Germany the size of my head! I’ve even given the so-called “giants” like Dunkin’ and Krispy Kreme a fair shot...
This place is great! I haven't been here in years since I moved out of state. I was happy to see it's still the same and the donuts taste just like I remember. Best donut shop ever!
I used to go here often when I lived in the area. Then I moved to Nashville, which is a barren wasteland for donuts. Every time I come back home, I hit up Donut Star for my maple bar fix. There is no equal.
Parking: The parking lot is a small L-shaped lot. Donut Star shares a parking lot with Baskin Robbins & a few other businesses. I recommend coming in on the Court St. side and going out on the California St. side.
