Kitchen428 Restaurant & Mojo’s Lounge

This place was just what we needed! I fly in to see my sister and this is just about the halfway point between her place and the airport! The food was phenomenal! The decor was super cute and portions were just right for us!

My favorite was the jalapeño popper cornbread! Literally drooling just thinking about it! So good if you're in the area you should definitely try it!

Did not expect to find such fine dining in this rural area. My adult daughters and I had rented a cabin nearby and decided to check out Kitchen 428, it did not disappoint!

Food was very good and a nice value

There are two sides, Mojos is open in the day, the Kitchen for dinner. Its the same restaurant, different sides, different menus. They have vegetarian options. I go the shishito peppers and artichoke dip. The peppers were good, Chipotle aioli was good, peppers could use some coarse salt. Artichoke dip is good, bread was kinda hard so maybe cut thicker or toast less. I got the Buddha bowl, it was good, peppers too big for one bite. My family got the avocado toast and zen bowl. Zen bowl rice was over cooked, soggy and distasteful. Toast was good, he said he would get an egg on it next time. Mocktail was $10, little pricey for some soda water and syrup. Service was fine, she was attentive. I'll come back to try dinner but not lunch again.

Anytime you can elevate a high school lunch option to a savory, delicious, sweet/crunchy dinner starter, you got skills. Highly recommend ??

We recently moved to Woodland, California from the Midwest and found a terrific place in town in which to enjoy lunch in a lovely patio full of beautiful plants and great wait staff. Both times we visited Restaurant 428 we loved our food & drink. The tables and chairs were comfortable and the air was cool and fresh. My Fried Green Tomato Sliders were something I've never eaten and they were scrumptious!

Was with party of 9.Seated around 20min before waitress came to take drink order..3 burgers ordered at table,medium,medium well and well done.All burgers came out charred black and dry,sweet potato fries were way overcooked,dark and very dry also.Rest of table seemed to be ok with their meals,tri tip seemed basic,omelettes basic,etc. Definitely pricey paying for atmosphere and not for food and service.

Delicious food with good prices! I liked the Oaxacan Buddha bowl and the 428 Burger. The Buddha bowl was a pretty unique salad as there weren't really any sour flavors or acidity. It was mostly sweet and salty, and was also pretty heavy considering there were beans, sweet potatoes, and a lot off dressing. The burger was good too! We requested it to be cooked to medium, and it ended up perfectly tasty and juicy.

What a fun place this is! Great vegan options!! This carrot ginger soup was amazing!! The bartender was such a sweet girl and so helpful. Janis is the best server EVER!!

I was pleasantly surprised today. After I read some of the other reviews, I was a bit unsure. But, for me and my friends, the atmosphere was really welcoming and comfy, our server Janice, was amazing, stayed on top of everything and made us feel right at home, and not the least but rushed!!
The food was delicious. The salads we each had for our side was fresh and really tasty. I seriously can't wait to go back with my hubby and another group of friends! :)
