We were visiting Davis and decided to stop by for some tacos because I've heard good things about La Kora. Wish I had known about them while I was at school here because they are so good! We got carne asada, cabeza, and Al pastor tacos. My go to meat is usually asada but I was told that Al pastor is a must try. And to my surprise, it was the best one! It was super flavorful compared to the other two meats. The tortillas are freshly made and pressed inside. The salsa bar is located right below the cashier. It is located in a small lot with abandoned cars. No real parking or seating because it's more of a grab and go style. It gets busy during lunch time so it goes to show how great their food is!

Love, love, love all of the food here! It's always fresh and the salsa is so good. I usually call my order in ahead and pick it up on my lunch. The people are very friendly and always get my order correct. Would HIGHLY recommend! My go to are the Pellizcadas, tacos and burritos

La Kora Tacos are seriously delicious and are served on fresh homemade tortillas. I had the carnitas and pollo tacos and the carnitas tacos were exceptional. They have a well stocked salsa bar with incredible homemade salsas to choose from. The price is at the high end of your typical taco truck ($3/taco) but the the quality and size make it immediately worth the price.

If you are on I-5 and see the West Street exit in Woodland, you should definitely stop here! The food truck is a traditional style Mexican taco truck, no prices listed but photos and a list of meats they serve. Although not written on the menu, one of the cooks was rolling and pressing tortillas! Fresh tacos!!!! We ordered 4 tacos, el pastor, carnitas, carne asada and pollo. The tacos are traditional street tacos with cucumbers and radishes on the side. They give you little plastic containers for your salsa (red, green, pico plus two others). The carnitas taco was hands down THE BEST CARNITAS I HAVE EVER EATEN! The meat was soft but crispy, fabulous. The el pastor and carne asada were very good. As far as chicken is concerned, I preferred a stewed chicken, but this was still good, it is just preference. The taco truck is in a car lot, no table, no frills. We ate in the car and enjoyed every bite! The fresh tortillas and carnitas stole the show! The best $3 tacos you will ever have.
