Excellent atmosphere, pleasant for all audiences, although sometimes they take a while to give you a table but that is because there are too many

Food was amazing. I did order pescado zarandiado but when it came out I feel like it needed a bit more cooking. We brought it home and I threw it in the oven and with 10 minutes in the oven it tasted better. My non sea lover child wanted a carne asada quesadilla and it was very decent.

I don't like seafood - but the atmosphere was great. They were nice enough to allow our group of 1st graders and parents to bring all our arts and craft supplies into the restaurant to finish our project. Very friendly and accomodating.

The restaurant is very dirty. Seats and tables are disgusting you can see the dust. Grease stuck to the booths. It's just so dirty. Food was okay. My food was blend but my husbands and sons food was good.

Terrible experience, especially with the very arrogant and unethical waiters, and the food was ugly, the rice was sticky, the beans tasted smoked.

I went there for the 1st time.. this was saturday July 22, 2023. As soon as I walked in, I noticed it was hot and humid. There was a lot of people. Fans were on but no AC. (that day, temperature was around 108F) I was greeted by a busser which sat me all the way on the back in a table with 2 chairs..It took them about 15- 20 mins to notice I was there. A waitress came over and asked what I wanted to drink. few mins later, she came back with cebiche ( room temp, not cold) which I found awkward..its supposed to be ice )cold. chips were very hard. I skipped this offering for my healh. took them another 15 mins to come get my order. There were a 3 guy band going around table to table asking customers if they wanted a song played. They ignored me or problably didnt see me because I was all the way on the back and there was a some sort of wooden blind dividing the room.I ordered the carne asada with shrimp. Food came.. carne asada on bottom, grilled shrimp on top.. meat was very hard even to cut with my knife and shrimp not so bad, but they had a sauce on top of them that was really, really spicy even for a Mexican like me. there was a small portion of salad and not much rice or beans. I still ate it since it was over 20 dollars.. I didnt got full and I asked if they had dessert.. Was shocked when waitress said "no". very dissapointing experience overall.I am not going back.

Pretty sure this restaurant has a new owner. He sucks and has no customer service experience and probably never managed a restaurant before. I came here a few months ago and got tacos . The meat was spoiled. I came back months later gave it another chance and ordered a shrimp cocktail that tasted like straight up water and when I told the waitress (who was nice) She told the owner and she said that the owner said it was fresh and I have to prepare it myself and if I didn't like it they would prepare me another dish but I would have to pay for the cocktail even if I didn't eat it. Not the waitress fault she even apologized I'm guessing because of how poor he handled the situation.

The food was really good and honestly the service was really good I came to Sacramento for 2 days and decided to give it a chance. Will definitely return and come back when I'm around. Amazing food I definitely recommend the pescado zarandeado and the a la chingareas 10/10!

This is one of my favorite restaurants.. the camarones a la Kora & camarones a la chingadera are by far my favorite dish. I like the empanadas extra crispy. The michelada was very good. The service is fantastic and the restaurant is beautiful..
