I knew I would like the ambiance from pictures I had seen and came away impressed with the food and menu as well. The flavors and dishes are authentic. The chef created cuisine rises above cookie cutter offerings in chain restaurants. The main menu selection is large including seafood, various grilled meats and molé. In addition to the main menu, there are weekly changing Taco Tuesday and Weekend Dinner menus to add even more variety. The place is indeed charming with attentions to details as small as the custom silverware. It is the place to go for more upscale Mexican dining locally.

Everything here is perfect! The decor is so warm and welcoming, and the curvy utensils give a cute whimsical vibe! Their food is the best in Woodland, Davis, Sac, and beyond! The best part though is the amazing service- Kylie especially. She's always very attentive, has great recommendations, is very kind, and never even has to write anything down! My husband and I have only been there once before yet Kylie remembered ALL of my allergies AND what we got last time so we knew what to order this time! The incredible food and service have made Maria's the new date night spot for us forever!

My sister's & I loved this place! The top shelf margaritas were beautiful & delicious! The chips were thin & crispy & wonderful! We had tostadas, shrimp & a Chipotle salad. All delicious Service was great too!!!!

Overpriced unfortunately. Beer especially was overpriced.
We hit the dinner crowd and still were seated quickly. The server was friendly and continued to check on us throughout our visit. We were able to get some happy hour margaritas which helped with the overall cost. The margaritas were good and satisfying. I ordered a crispy carne asada tacos plate. The carne and rice lacked flavor and the taco shell was not the greatest, but the salsa inside the taco was good. The refried beans were good and flavourful. My husband ordered an El pastor burrito. The meat was delicious. My mother in law ordered the chicken tortilla soup which she was satisfied with. We also paid for chips and salsa. The chips were good but the salsa was not really authentic salsa, and lacked flavor and spice. The price was a bit much for the portion sizes, however the meals were filling. I would dine in again to see if there are different dishes I may enjoy.

We came here because we had a gift card from Christmas. My husband had the Chile Verde. It was excellent if you cut in the jalapeno. Meat was very tender. I had the two tostada's. I really liked that you can choose two different meats. Although I regret not choosing carnitas for both it was that good. For desert we had the cream filled churros, good but not our thing I guess. Full restaurant but not too noisy, comfortable booth and chairs. Even outdoor seating if that's your thing. Would definitely come againParking: We parked in an empty lot across the street

Top Shelf Margarita was excellent! However …..no complimentary chips and salsa. May seem petty to some but if you want to stay competitive and not make one feel that they are going to be gouged for anything ordered then offer at least one serving of chips and salsa with purchase. Would have ordered dinner but no thank you! The staff looked miserable and not happy to be there either. This made the vibe feel “cold.”Left disappointed that I can’t believe the Morgan’s would allow such a restaurant setting and service.
