Service was great, but when you pay $40 for steak frites and get this, that's a tough pill to swallow :/

I dined at Morgan's for a pharmaceutical event. We were seated in a private room. The food was delicious. The drink was mixed perfectly with whisky and pineapple. The NY was prepared to a perfect temperature of medium rare. I enjoyed the jalapeño and spinach dip as well. It was nicely spiced. My only complaint was that it took a really long time for the drinks, food, and dessert to be served. I opted to take my dessert home since it was a long wait. The speaker for the event completed his presentation prior to the food being served. Overall, I had a pleasant dinning experience as the quality of the food was worth the wait.

Good food. I really like their burger- one of the best in town. Also they have a nice outdoor area for dining.

The food here is top notch! The filet mignon is our favorite when we go! They are kid friendly here too! The ice cream sundaes are a must try if you want a small treat. Definitely recommend for a nice dinner atmosphere.

This place has gone so far downhill. It used to be a really dependable American restaurant with good food that was fresh and appetizing. The Caesar I ordered had obviously been refrigerated all day. The dressing was bland and white. I've been here many times and since 2023 and I feel the entire place has given up on their desire to be #1.

Adding a few food pictures from a recent visit. The server didn't ask how I wanted the pork chop cooked and it came out a bit more well done than I would have liked. The grilled salmon with potato croquet over spinach was beautifully presented and well made. The pastry puff with baked apple dessert drizzled with honey and served a la mode was light and satisfying at the same time.

Morgan's is a solid steak place with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It's fun to get lost in the bar area on a bustling night. The staff are friendly and efficient. There are slightly more options on the dinner menu. The salads are solid, and I definitely recommend adding a protein. The wine selection is one of my favorite parts. You can get local favorites like Grindstone Wines there, and I'm not sure where else in town serves them. I highly recommend the Grindstone cab to pair with a hearty steak dinner. It's an easy drinking cab. They also have a couple of sauvignon blancs on the menu, which are the best in town, IMO. On the pricier side for Woodland dinner - but worth it on special nights or to treat yourself.

Highly recommend Morgan's. It is definitely my favorite restaurant in Woodland! The service and food are consistently great! Tonight, I had the braised short rib plate, and it was so yummy! Hearty and filling, with amazing flavors!

Dined in last night as a party of 4, including our teen nephew. Wasn't sure if it was 21 and over so we were glad we could bring him in with us to sit in a booth. The service was attentive and quick. I ordered the Tri tip dip and I LOVED it. The fries were amazing and you get a good sized helping of them. My husband enjoyed his chicken parm pasta. I didn't get pics of the other dishes but the wings and Caesar salad had no complaints. Definitely happy we chose to try this place out. Still talking about it the next day, I want another French dip already. We will definitely be back when we are in the area next.

We got eggs benny and it was delicious! The hollandaise was nice and lemon-ey and the potatoes that come with it were SO soft and delicious. They clearly care about their food tasting really good.

Moved away in 2020 but comeback to visit friends and family. Prior to leaving my wife and I had celebrated a couple of our anniversaries here. Our current visit had us in the area during the time of our anniversary. So we made reservations with memories of the wonderful food and service we so enjoyed in the past. The ambiance has definitely changed along with other things. Music and horse play from kitchen staff was loud and not appropriate. Previously the servers where well trained and had specials memorized. I would always look forward to enjoying one of the specials the chef had for the evening. Our server was extremely casual, I had to ask if there were specials. We thought we would try the deviled eggs again. They were absolutely horrible. Bacon wasn't candied and filling was warm egg wasn't fresh. The bed of greens and egg whites had been sitting in fridge long enough to taste like the inside of a fridge. If you're going to have an upscale restaurant with upscale prices you're going to need a chef again and severs who are trained in proper etiquette. Our reservations were for 6:30pm on 12/30 a Saturday. At one point we were the only guest on restaurant side ( a huge red flag for a Sat evening) We finished and closed out asap wife didn't even open her gift from me. We chalked it up as an experience and chuckled as I said this didn't count and we will redo another night else where. I hope the owner sees this and takes it seriously, this place was truly a nice place for dinner before. Id like to see it that way again.

Went for lunch & am GF. I called before to see if they can accommodate - the person who answered was very helpful. Got a chicken cesar salad (no croutons). It tasted great & I didn't get sick. A win-win!
