Nasty 🤮 Bread was so dry today 4-11-2025 it was nasty I got jalapeños pan con queso
This place needs to update its hours of operation—they’re incorrect, which is really frustrating. On top of that, the bread is overpriced for the quality. Definitely not worth it.
Some of the best Mexican pan dulce on this side of the border! My experience of pan dulce is from the Mexican heartland of Guanajuato where my family is from and this comes real close. We love the palmeras and the empanadas dulces. The mantecadas are also highly recommended. Best to go on the weekend, to early when the pan is fresh and the smells invite you to eat as many pastries as you can handle.
Atmosphere is relaxed, mom and pop panaderÃa from Mexico that offers affordable pastries and bolillos and teleras. The owners are extremely nice and very welcoming.
Got some bolillo for thanksgiving, the bread was so soft and they are the biggest bolillos I have ever seen! I also bought some pan dulce(sweet Mexican bread) it was delicious and fresh! Highly recommend buying your pastries and bread here! The customer service was great also!

Terrible service when you order cakes to be made the person who is there never has time Maybe because she is an employee and it is not hers the business does not have much interest in the business
He sells you his older bread, like getting away with something, wouldn’t you want to sell customers daily made fresh bread, maybe discount the bread from the day before but point it out. His bread is the best when it’s fresh. Besides that we just ate bread from yesterday and it sucks. That’s why I only go once in a while
You can tell he makes his pan dulce with his heart. It's fresh, soft, creamy, buttery and on point.

They have it mixed with bread from another day ?
Drove up from Sacramento to Redding, this is one of the best places to get Mexican bread!! All super soft and freshly made. Defensively stopping through here again next time. Looks family owned. Really authentic. Wish I could buy more to help them fix some of their bread cabinets.
Very good bread! From Posada we arrived for bread on Paseo a Redding. The bread is very delicious and fresh. I will definitely come back for more. I would like to buy you daily to see them grow and fix your bread cabinets. But definitely the place to go for their fresh bread.

The mexican sweet bread is delicious. There is a wide variety of pastries to choose from. The workers and owners are very helpful and friendly. They also accept credit cards.
