Still one of the best steaks I have ever had. This used to be one of our date spots to eat and it was always amazing.

We were in town for the weekend and decided to finally try this restaurant. They open for dinner at 5pm, and the setting is unique, the restaurant is housed in what was once a Victorian home, giving it a charming rustic appeal. I’ll admit, the initial smell reminded me a little of an old Las Vegas casino, but don’t let that fool you. This is the only true sit-down restaurant in town, and if you’re looking for a romantic dinner, this is the spot.

We arrived right at opening, and the bar already had regulars enjoying their evening. We were seated in the main dining room, where it was just us, and another party of four. Kara, who greeted us, was bubbly, personable, and welcoming. Our server, Alicia, was equally wonderful. Both ladies were knowledgeable about the menu, quick with recommendations, and incredibly attentive. They had that sixth sense of knowing what we needed before we even had to ask.

We ordered a nice variety to share: the tempura, seasonal fire-roasted artichoke, fried zucchini and squash, spinach salad, Malaysian shrimp, Pacific cod fish & chips, and the top sirloin steak. Honestly, we walked in with zero expectations, but this small-town steakhouse really delivered.

The food was delicious, but the service stood out as truly top notch. Kara and Alicia made the experience memorable, and for that reason alone, we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town.

Food and prices were great. Servers were pretty good. Although the lady that took our order seemed frazzled and had to come back multiple times to double check our orders or what was still available in the kitchen.

We had dinner last night. Everything is solid and delicious. One of the best Sirloin steaks I ever had. Their clam chowder is really delicious. Looking forward to it again in the future

Never knew a porterhouse steak could be so thin. Pitiful baked potato. Could be an outstanding restaurant. Feels like the owners just don't care anymore.

I was looking forward to a nice meal . Walking in from the outside the place was adorable. It was snowing and just a really neat atmosphere. That came to a screeching halt when sitting down at the bar. I can tell you alot about this bartender because she is on stage the whole time announcing her plans her car problems, what she has just purchased and so on. But if you would like to be acknowledged or even order a drink or ask for a menu, be prepared for a long winded speech on what she will do for you when she can get to it rather than doing her job and doing it. I've never seen anything like it. Be prepared that if you should happen to oder an appetizer, Dinner it will all come out at the same time and mind you if you question it. You are simply told by the bartender that you must specify if you like your appetizer to come out first. And believe me, the bartender will make sure the entire restaurant is hearing her speak. I would say the food was good. I will not be returning.

Rude server, rude owner. Waitress took 40+ minutes to take drink orders...when guests went to the bar to order something - the owner scolded guests for not staying at the table, I could understand IF the building was packed and they needed the seats, but half of the bar was an open laptop and paperwork that the owners were working on openly, so it didn't seem that lack of seating was an issue.... Owner then stood directly behind our table without helping for at least 10 minutes, weird lurking after scolding, such an odd woman. When FINALLY ordering, there are only 3 appetizer options and the 1 I ordered was unavailable and the waitress poorly communicated the lack of food available and rolled her eyes at me. Food was good, I'll never go back.

Visiting for the first time, we wandered through several spots in town and were turned away—until we stumbled upon this hidden gem. What a cozy, charming find! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind, especially Kara, who went above and beyond. The food was spot-on—exactly what we were craving. If you’re a fan of old-school dining with a touch of nostalgia, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

I am passing through Wrightwood on my way to L.A. to visit my daughter and staying the night at Grand Pine Cabins. It’s just so happened that the town’s annual festival was taking place at the same time. Pretty cool. Anyway, I was wondering around looking for a place to eat and stumbled upon the Blue Ridge Inn. It was late Sunday afternoon and I walked into this place not knowing what to expect. I opted to sit in the bar area because it was not too busy. I was warmly greeted by every employee and my bartender/server (Michelle - with two l’s) greeted me with a friendly smile and made me feel welcome. I ordered a double Woodford Reserve on the rocks (so tasty) and decided on the Salmon with the garden salad to start. The salad had fresh, crisp veggies and their house vinegarette dressing was light and flavorful. The Salmon with raspberry sauce was fresh and really delicious served with a good rice pilaf and fresh veggie medley. Michelle recommended their homemade coconut crème cake for desert and it was simply amazing. Not too sweet or overwhelmed with coconut and so good. It was a huge slice that I could not finish. Michelle’s service was impeccable. I will definitely come here again if the opportunity presents itself!

The Blue Ridge Inn was very accommodating even with a rush. We were seated after only 20 minutes wait with a full house. I ordered the Ribeye and was very pleased with the cut at Medium. The ribeye was succulent and rich with flavor. The staff were very helpful and insightful with the selection of red wine (Valley of the Moon) to complete the steak. Nikki specifically, was who recommended dessert, was very nice and attentive. Overall a great experience for an out of towner. Would visit again soon indeed.
