Andes Peruvian Grill

I was looking forward to trying Andes! My family just moved into the area and have been trying to find good staple takeout spots. Andes was a place we have been dying to try. Unfortunately when I got home with my dinner I noticed my lomo saltado had no fries in it and the rice was rock hard in some spots. Also, the potion was pretty small for $13. Bad first impression and don't know if I will be going back.

Idk who gave this place 4 or 5 stars, clearly people who have never had good Peruvian food. The person working was attentive but not friendly, the food took 40 minutes to come out, and my lomo saltado was not only dry but half of the pieces were also very overcooked. Not sure if it was the cook working tonight but I would not come back. Very disappointed.

Haven't been disappointed here. The food is always good and it's fresh & hot whether we pick up or dine in.

Very comfortable seating area, kind, and respectful, and attentive to all customers. The food is absolutely delicious! This place is authentic, I would highly recommend to all my family and friends. We will be coming back

My first time here for lunch I wasn't impressed. My girlfriend talked me into trying it again and I'm glad she did. Ceviche mixto is great, fresh and citrus-based. The pescado a lo macho is delicious. Creamy, buttery sauce with shrimp and calamari poured over sea bass. Owner and his daughter are pleasant and interact with the customers. We're hooked.

Great Peruvian spot run by a local family that really knows how to make delicious Peruvian dishes!

I came here because I live very local and wanted to try something different....I also saw good reviews and on a facebook page I'm on, people were saying it's a hidden gem in Yorba Linda.... anyways, it was HOT in there.. we considered going somewhere else to eat because it was so uncomfortable...we stayed because my kids wanta the shaved ice place next door after.. there was so soap in the women's bathroom and the food was SO GROSS. I'm not talking flavor, the rice was hard and undercooked.. the chicken had crunchy dry (like when u leave it out) pieces . My kids didnt eat their food and I'll tell ya, my youngest is like a garbage disposal. I ordered their general favorite meal (teriyaki chicken bowl)..I asked what the piece of whatever it was in my kids chicken and he claimed it was onion... it was NOT onion. I very kindly asked for us not to be charged for one of the kids bowls even though none of us ate our food.. he took it off but was quiet yet his body language was hostile. From then on, the guy never spoke to me again even after I was saying thank you and all that... long story, it was gross, the guy was rude, it was hot and they have no soap in the bathrooms. We will never return. I was genuinely scared myself or my kids would end up sick from there. Idk how people like it there...really..

tasty food..chicken, steak, fish dishes good. Dishes were all a little salty, and rice rather dry..perhaps that's the style. However...mediocre table service during a 1/4 filled restaurant drops this from what could have been 4 stars to 3 stars.

Delicious food! Excellent ceviche de pescado, seco de carne and arroz chaufa 👍👍👍 I'll definitely come back for more. Prices are reasonable and outstanding service ❤

We like the fish ceviche the most. Rice was a bit too dry... We hope for a bit more meat for the kebabs... as it tasted great :p
