It was supper tasty and it was really quick. This summer I’ve had a lot of really great meals but this has totally been the best.

I don't know what hurts more, to pay $60 for 3 bagels, 1 sandwich and a smoothie or to rewrite this review of a place that until today was considered my favorite bagel shop. I had to update my review because I have to stay honest. Is this what Avalon has become, more and more expensive and less quality and service? I've had to go back before for forgotten items but I think this did it for me. Just look at the picture, who thought it was ok to serve this to a person that just spent $60 at a bagel shop. I remember when I would get excited to go to Avalon, now I just hope they get everything right.

Avalon Bagels never disappoints! We’ve been coming to this location for a while now, and honestly, we like it way more than the one in Placentia. The omelet sandwich with cinnamon apples is my go-to — it’s perfectly cooked, and the cinnamon apples give it the best sweet-savory combo. My fiancé had the chicken avocado sandwich with sidewinder fries, and both were delicious.

The environment here is always super chill and friendly, and there’s tons of parking which makes the visit even better. It’s become one of our favorite breakfast spots — highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Perfect spot to waste your time and money!

Honestly, Avalon has done and complete 180- what once was a great neighborhood bagel shop has become and constant disappointment.

Orders frequently take an obscene amount of time. Over 30mins to get a few toasted bagels to go. And if you order a smoothie, you get it right away and then have to wait for your order while your smoothie becomes a melted mess.

And once you finally get your order, be sure to check it because more often than not it’s either incorrect or missing something. And be prepared to argue with an employee when you bring it up. They’ve become really aggressive when bringing up their mistakes. Probably because it happens so frequently. I’ve been blamed for not ordering something and then when I bring receipts (literally) they start blaming each other. It’s a real mess. And no apologies to be found anywhere.

This isn’t just based on one bad experience- it’s been a constant decline and now I’m just over it and done with Avalon. The prices keep going up, quality and accuracy go down, and the employees have become pretty terrible to deal with. It’s been awhile since I’ve had a good experience. I’ve only been returning because my kids like, but going to have to put my foot down on this one.

I’m tired of overpaying for declining disappointing food. There are a lot of good places in the area. Check them out.

Went here for a breakfast bagel one morning, it was okay, lacking salt to my taste, but definitely quality food. Nice atmosphere, I felt surrounded by friendly locals.

Bagels are pretty average and bland tasting. They got 2 items on our order wrong. If you just want simple bagels with cream cheese or toasted, this is not the place.

I work close by and often place to-go orders from Avalon Bagels to Burgers in Yorba Linda, usually through the website or by calling in. It’s a convenient option during my short breaks, since I don’t always have time to order in person.

That said, I’ve experienced several issues with my orders being incorrect when I come to pick them up. Sometimes items are missing or not made as requested, and unfortunately, because of my limited break time, I’m not always able to go back and have them fixed.

I really enjoy the food when the order is right, and I appreciate having a local spot nearby that offers a wide menu. It would make a big difference if there were more consistency and care in double-checking to-go orders before handing them off. I think that small improvement would go a long way in creating a better experience for customers like me who rely on quick and accurate service.

It's a great place to eat. They always serve the Veterans on Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Great food and fantastic smoothies.

I ordered a cheeseburger and oh my gosh it was disgusting. It was definitely not cooked to order. The meat had been left over and cooked the day before and then re-heated.
It was dry and I didn’t even finish it. I threw it away and note to self, never come back here again.

Ordered a bagel and a burger with some coffee. Honestly one of the lamest tasting burgers I’ve ever had. I’ve written very little reviews before but this was not worth the money in any way.
