We absolutely love this place. We love building our own food and recently tried their build your own bowls. We can't wait to do it again soon. The food is remarkably delicious.

The past few times i have ordered from here they have forgot entire items i’ve ordered without fail. I always use the website because it’s quick and easy to order food but the employees can never get my order correct. I always have an item missing or with the wrong options or have missing sauce or have the wrong size drink. I never have this issue from the location in south jordan but this location can never get my order right.

The food value and quality was substandard. The price was too much compared to the quantity offered. There was plenty of seating however which is why I gave three stars. I would absolutely NOT recommend going hear to eat enchiladas.

This place is so good! I can’t believe I hadn’t been before today. The portions are great and the taste of the food is even better. Definitely check it out if you’re around. Melissa was very informative, helpful, and friendly. I didn’t know what kind of meat to get and she helped me decide.

I waited 20 + min for my order (6:20-6:42) and then when they gave it to me it was cold. And I could tell they were pretty busy but my friend’s order was ready right on time so it was frustrating. And our order was wrong - we only received one taco instead of the entree.

My wife and I go every Tuesday for Taco Tuesday and the $3.99 tacos are always delicious and we even get $5 credit sometimes from the Cafe Rio Rewards program. The staff at the Yorba Linda location are always polite, fast and friendly.

Parking: We always find a spot close enough for just a short walk.

In past years, I had always loved going to Cafe Rio. I was delighted to see that there was a cafe rio in Yorba Linda when I located here. I have been there 3 times over the last 5 years and each time I am sadly disappointed. Today was the last time I am eating at their establishment. The food was clearly not fresh at all- the salsa had a thick dark layer on the top, the meat did too. The surrounding surface areas were very dirty. It does not appear that any thorough cleaning takes place on the counter surfaces or the food preparing areas. I actually questioned if I wanted to continue with my order as I was worried I may be eating bacteria contaminated food. The employees were slightly more enthusiastic than previously observed but still not a welcoming entourage. I have noticed that everytime I go to Cafe Rio, there is little to no customers and I understand why. The food did not taste horrible, although the rice was not fully cooked. But just the thought of eating old food that’s been left out for an unknown amount of time (probably because of a lack of customers) had made me think twice about the food I was consuming. I agree with the other customers complaining of small food portions, they offer super tiny portions at high prices… I would’ve been able to look past that if I trusted the food but it’s just another nail in the coffin. Sadly , I won’t be returning.

The white male at the front in his 50s named Chris is very unprofessional and easily irritable, this is the 2nd time I’ve come here and he has a horrible and unfriendly attitude. I get maybe having a rough day but this is the second time so I'm assuming he’s just that unpleasant naturally. Not to mention they’d only been open for an hour. Would definitely look for someone else to run the front, not a very good look on the business with Chris and his “I hate my job” personality. Despite my interaction with Chris, the young girl cashiering today was very kind and helpful with a great personality!!

Left hungry. Not satisfied with my purchase of tostada for $18 not coming here again. My friend got tacos and he got more meat and food than me for $12. Stop giving out small portions! You will lose your customers!
