Never again. We were seated 25 minutes late. Our server dropped off a pile of silverware, napkins and a few glasses of water, and then he was never seen again. We were never offered the included mimosas, our water glasses were never refilled, and I had to go find more napkins myself. The buffet ran out of many items, which were never refilled. The omelet station ran out of bacon, sausage, etc. The salads were picked up by 1:30 and never replaced. There was a $12.12 "surcharge" on the bill, which nobody could explain (even though these types of fees were outlawed in California effective July 1, 2024. I had to ask for the bill 4 times, and it still took 27 minutes to receive it. No apologies, nobody asked if we needed anything. As I said, never again.
Customer service is terrible in this location, we came in to celebrate my birthday and we got nothing but bad attitude from management just because we asked if we could add more people to our party (fron 5 to 9 ppl), honestly is my last visit rather go somewhere else
I love to come to Sunday Brunch, they have a variety of dishes from soups to salads and real Mexican entree. Various desserts and refreshing unlimited Champagne. You won't be disappointed. Service is top notch. I specially love the menudo.
Good food.
Great food and excellent service from our waiter and definitely would go there again for a brunch or meal. The only negative was the prime rib and omelette station were done by the time we got there. But all the remaining food and deserts were amazing!
We had a reservation for 12:15. We were not seated until 1 and that was due to us asking multiple times the status. After being seated, nobody came to get our drink order or to greet us. I went and asked a busboy to get us silverware and summon a waitress to get drinks. They brought my husband's soda to the table, but did not bring mine. My husband had to ask them twice for my drink. They finally informed him the regular soda was being changed so he asked them to make it diet. The waitress never came to offer champagne that is part of the brunch or ask if we needed refills. We had to ask for the check. I understand it was extremely busy due to Mother's Day, but they need to possibly only offer brunch for those with a reservation. There were several times we had to wait for a plate or for food items to be refilled. I feel we did not get our money's worth and the restaurant added a surcharge on top of it. Very disappointed
Way too many people. Server came to our table twice. We didn't have enough chairs or table settings so we had to get them ourselves. No refills
This experience was very disappointing. My mother and I have been coming to El Toronto for Mother's Day for over 10 years and this was the first time that she did not get to enjoy all the food that she loves here. By 12 o'clock you were out of flan/shrimp/ceviche and later enchiladas. It was very sad that things fell so short this year and that this ruined her special day.
Rosa was the best server. Always there whenever you need anything. It was Mother's Day so the place was a mad house. I think the Staff handled everything well, considering how jam packed it was.
Kinda crap way to spend Mother's Day. Hit seated on time but didn't get water or coffee or even a greeting until we were on our second trip to the buffet. Plates stacked up into the manager stepped on to help out. We got checked on once and never had my coffee refreshed. Food stations were consistently empty. Don't recommend.

We went to El Torito brunch today for an early Mother's Day and had a great experience. Service by Rosa was EXCELLENT. She was friendly, sweet, attentive, swift with the refills of mimosas and was quick to get us anything we asked for. The food was amazing as always. The manager was a lady and was so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend this El Torito and ask for Rosa as your server!
My family and I (party of 12) celebrated Mother's Day in Saturday. Let me just say, the food was delicious and warm. Food stations were never empty. Perfect location and service. Will definitely go back.
A family member made a reservation for Mother’s Day brunch. I called to verify that they have gluten free options since we have a family member with celiac disease. I spoke with a manager who told me she has no idea what, if any, options there are that are gluten free. She also told me that she asked her District Manager who also didn’t know. This was shocking, especially since Mexican restaurants are usually safe for people with gluten allergies.
Since it’s too late to make a reservation elsewhere, we will be celebrating my wife’s first Mother’s Day as a parent with one of our family members unable to partake in our celebratory brunch. I’m incredibly disappointed to see that people who would pursue a career in food service seem to have no interest in accommodating a fairly large portion of the population.
One of the best toritos. Great mini taquitos.
Our server Francisco has amazing service and very joyful. He was an excellent server and on top of his game always checking up on us!
