Known for their delicious tamales, people come from far to get a taste. Despite the name, the service is friendly and the place is clean. Grumpy's is a super cute donut and bagel shop with a nice atmosphere. Customers enjoy great tasting donuts and bagel sandwiches. After a long bike ride, the donuts tasted fresh, and the staff was incredibly kind. The donut display case is the real draw, stocked with colorful and seasonal treats. Even close to closing time, fresh donuts are being added to the case. There is a nice variety of plain and filled croissants, bagels, and muffins, including the must-try ube muffin, which is beautifully swirled with sweet cream cheese.
