This review is for their catering. We had the pleasure of hiring Oahu Shaved Ice at our baby shower over the weekend. Our guests enjoyed all the flavors and even had seconds and thirds. I would highly recommend hiring them for your next event! Punctual, quick and easy set up and break down. Thank you!

The servings are very small. The syrups used are not as strong as I am used to. Does Not taste like shave ice in Oahu. The poor kid was alone in the store taking orders and making them also. I felt bad for him.

Bought 5 tiger bloods with ice cream got burned on the ice cream makes not want to go back they put about a table spoon of ice cream wth

Their ice cream is excellent, shaved ice is more like a slushy, they need to sharpen their blade. We fell in love with shaved ice in Hawaii and hoped this would satisfy our cravings...not so much. Their syrups clearly aren't fresh syrups, you can taste the artificial flavor. They have an abundance of flavors which is fun.

Some of the best shaved ice I've ever had

Best shaved ice in Orange County. Order the P.O.G. Combo, Hawaii feels! Don't sleep on this place... I wish they enforced face masks to customers tho.

Whoever owns this establishment REALLY needs to be actively involved in the everyday goings on in this business especially when the schools get out. They are NEVER staffed with enough employees and to think that "1" person can take, make and deliver to the 20 customers in a timing manner is virtually impossible. And with the unruly, disrespectful teenage crowd waiting 45-50 minutes for orders I know several parents trying to take their children in will not return to this establishment it is just not worth it anymore. Please staff and require some decency to your business ASAP

Extremely un professional told me they don't accept Apple Pay when last week I paid with my phone. And I'm mostly here to say that it took 1 hour to get a shaved ice cone. Left two stars so this review will stay and be seen by other customers other wise I'd leave zero!!!

This was our local fav Hawaiian shave ice to go to. We 1st had our encounter of Oahu in There Fullerton store, where we use to live. Loved it so much that when that location closed down. We would make the drive to their Brea location to enjoy it every so often. Found the original in Yorba Linda, this location when we were going to open house back in 2015. Now that we've lived here in YL for 6 years. This is the only place we go to for Hawaiian shave ice. Highly recommend their P.O.G. Combo. It's the best and seems like it's everyone's fav also. Portions are really good amount of size. They use to make yummy grilled cheese sandwiches also here. It was called Epic Melt I don't see the standing menu sign for that anymore when i visited this past Tuesday nor can i find it listed under Yelp at all. Always enjoyed it here and never had any issues. Came here around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday There was 2 customers waiting for their items. We ordered a total of 4 shave ice. Confirm with the young guy I have a total of 4 shave ice He responded "Yes" Once I paid for my order. Walked outside to wait for my order. Looked at receipt and surely, only 3 shave ice were ordered. Went back and inform the guy. He had to relook and sworn also he took 4 orders. I asked to use my rewards I had than to redeem for the missing shave ice. He may be possibly new. He ask the young girl making the shave ice to assist him on how to redeem the reward. So while waiting for our shave ice outside. The tables were pretty dirty as mention like other yelpers. Never seem to be wiped down and sticky from past customers. We saw a mom and 2 kids went into the store to order. About 5 mins later. We noticed they got their order before us. My kids went into the store one time already before to check if our order was ready but it wasn't. Mind we have 4 kids with us, patiently waiting for theirs. They pointed out why are they getting their orders already and we ordered 1st. I went inside to ask that question. Supposedly the mom with the kids grabbed our order. Which was only 2 shave ice was made of ours. That mom ordered the exact same item as ours and wasn't aware it was ours and thought it was hers. She apologize and so did the associate girl. Stated will make us a new one. I think it'll be a better concept to call each order by # or even by name than by the flavors customers orders. So they won't be a mix up. The flavors we did get was popular so possibly why there might have been an accident of grabbing the wrong order. When we made the order, my daughter did request for extra syrup. The guy who took our order, noted it. We were than enjoying our shave ice outside. My daughter noticed there was barely any extra syrup she requested. The door has been locked since it was closed now at 7 pm. But there was a lady actually still inside the store eating the shave ice. We knocked informing another guy, if we can get the extra syrup per requested when ordered. He informed us, the syrup was put away. He was another guy in the back of the store that just appeared when they started to close. When plainly at view sight. It was right there behind the counter. The associate girl just started to put the lid of the syrup a few minutes after we requested if we can get the extra syrup. I would have thought As a courtesy especially with the mess up of our order. We had to wait longer than we already have waited on top of that. They could have nicely accommodate us with that extra syrup we asked for when we made the order. So this definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. As a long time fan of Oahu. Also to state they are closed but yet had a customer inside there during closing hours enjoying their shave ice in there still. During the years looks like Oahu is starting to fail on their customers as what I've read. With longer turn around time to receive their shave ice and cleanliness too. Please Oahu let's get back to the Oahu I've enjoyed with my kids growing up.

Update: From 3 to 1 Took 35 minutes to get my shaved ice. The ice is not shaved as much as it's a ball. They didn't "overfill" mine like they did the rest. They had no lids. Nightmare. Not coming back. ------------ We've been here a few times. The shaved ice is delicious. Great flavor options and lots of cool suggestions... one big problem. Why would you be a shaved ice company with one ice shaving machine? Pony up and get a couple cuz a line of 3 families and it's a 20 minute wait? Pretty crazy. Will try somewhere else (ice cream?) next time.

5 stars because of the actual product. I Got the tigers blood that had vanilla bean ice cream on the bottom and it's pretty awesome. Staff was nice. We got there an hr before closing so the tables were stained and sticky AF. It wouldn't hurt if they wiped down the tables per visit. It was almost pointless wearing a mask inside if the tables aren't wiped down. The walls are in needs of dusting kinda pushed us to eat outside anyways. Overall very good shaved ice

I've been to many shave ice places in California and Hawaii so I was in the area and it was hot and decided to try this one out. They have the equipment a Swan shave ice machine that makes real authentic fluffy Hawaiian shave ice which is great. The ice cream is regular Thifty's ice cream which is just ok. The shave ice syrup is not natural Hawaiian shave ice syrup which is a big no for me and it lacks flavor to me. The syrup is the main part of the shave ice and with the price they charge it should be fresh natural Hawaiian syrup! That and the slow service is why I give this place a 2 star. If you're in Cerritos go to Snowflakes, Brian's shave ice in LA is pretty good and Hang Loose Hawaiian Shave Ice in Glendale are pretty much the last shave ice places around. Hula Girls in HB has gone down hill and Haole Boys Shave Ice in HB is more of food truck and they do more catering than have a stable place so it's hard to get them. Makes me want to set up my own place.
