Beautiful - Historical - Attentive The Ahwahnee is an amazing dining experience, but you pay for it. The food and service was spectacular, however if you are into views of nature, architecture and history, that will blow you away. I ate breakfast there, cheapest meal of the day plus no dress code requirement, I dressed in my best shirt and shorts I had packed, I was dressed similar to most others. They are not serving food at the bar at this time. Debby was a fun server. She'll get what you need. They should really consider opening at 3:00pm. People arrive early before check in, so it would be nice if they could grab a drink while they wait for their room.
Outstanding food, service, and ambience. Upscale fine dining. Buffet service allowed us to try everything that would normally be on their menu rather than choosing just one selection.
