Usually, when staying at a historic hotel in a national park, you get your fill of staff who don't care. That was definitely NOT the case here. The staff cheerfully greeted us at every encounter. Bar food and service were excellent. They kept apologizing for a short wait, but who cares when you are lounging around on vacation? The main dining room is a must for dinner. Ambiance superlative! Food choices nice but eggs Benedict had sat too long in the chafing dish. Service was very attentive. Live piano was an unexpected touch. Disappointed they would not accept cash as payment: dining room nor gift shops.
