Went to Jefferson roadhouse today. Was not disappointed food was absolutely perfect. Not to mention we had the best waitress in the place Lisa she was so friendly and nice. It’s hard to get customer service with a friendly and happy person serving you. When I go back I will be asking for her for sure. Plus the chef that was working today was the best. Definitely received the A+ team today.

Jefferson Roadhouse delivered a great overall experience. They have an excellent selection of beers on tap, and every appetizer I tried was delicious. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive, which made the visit even better. Everything came together for a really enjoyable time, and I’d definitely go back.

The bar is great. The bartenders are friendly and know how to fix you a good drink. Food is fantastic, salads especially. Appetisers vary good. Plenty of room for families or an evening if needed. Great selection. And specials daily are good.

I am a local and I was very disappointed 😞 its been almost a year since me and my boyfriend went to Jeffersons due to a bad experience. I ordered the prime rib French dip sandwich and asked to add mushrooms, cheese, and onions. They remade it and brought it out to me 3 different times and used the same meat over and over again so by the time they finally got it right the meat was bone dry overcooked and my boyfriend had already been done eating for about 10 minutes. The server we had never asked us for refills or how everything was or anything. Last night we decided to give it another chance hoping that things had improved. Nope. Ordered a bbq burger, when it came out it had lettuce, tomato, and pickles on it. That is not what is listed on the menu. The burger patty must've been freezer burnt or something, it was so tough and discolored on the inside 🤢 I had to get up out of the booth 2-3 times to ask the server for something and we were the only table in the main dining room. Don't know what has happened to that place but its really not good. Won't be going back anytime soon, if ever again.

Fun evening for dinner. Live music, great food prepared with love. Will come by here again when we're in town.

Food very poor quality. I wished I spent my 23 dollars at raleys buying Gordon's frozen fish filets...would have way cheaper and so much better

I'd give zero stars if that was a option! I never write reviews but this experience was most definitely worth writing a review for. The prices are ridiculously outrageous for the nasty no flavor no seasoned food! The portions were an absolute joke! The service was less then ok. As a local to siskiyou county, I'm very disappointed to put it lightly. You think with the minimal restaurant options available in our area this place would blow ever orher restaurant out of the water. I fully understand what it takes to run a restaurant. As I have over twenty years experience in the restaurant/ food service industry. I was also trained under a global master chef. But the prices were that of a michelin star restaurant but with prepackage frozen food. Although our waitress was very polite. The service we received was as if the place was packed and it most definitely was not. It's advertised as a local steakhouse and what I was expecting from that versus what we got was night and day. We just wanted a nice family meal. We are an immediate family with an aunt, we haven't seen in a few years. You could call it a semi big group with the 10 of us but then on each of the 3 checks they automatically added 20% gratitude to each bill which was absolutely ridiculous with the service but most of all, the quality of food. Long story short, save your time and money and go to Black Bear if you want a diner style dinner/experience. None of us will ever be returning.

Great service. Otherwise, it’s a fancy looking dump. The bacon on the over-the-top
Bloody Mary was probably rancid (I spit it out before it could make me sick). The cod in the fish and chips was the hardest, most rubbery fish I have ever (EVER) tried to eat. I gave up after the first piece. You’d be better off with gas station fare.

I ate the fish and chips when I was here. It was absolutely wonderful except for it was pretty greasy and definitely gave me a stomachache after eating it. However, the quantity is really good. You get your fair amount of fish. The coleslaw is absolutely disgusting. I couldn’t tell if it was rancid or just absolutely no flavor to it. I would definitely recommend a sweeter coleslaw with some mayonnaise and sugar added to whatever package mix that they use to boost the flavor other than that, I love visiting up here I think that our waitresses could definitely use more of a personality and be more willing to talk to people the waitress that we had while we were up there never came back for Refills

Ive been here numerous times so i was looking forward to a good meal with family and friends. We were part of a group of 13. We had reservations for 630pm (for 10 but added 3). They were busy and short-staffed when we arrived so we all gave them A LOT of grace. However, it took at least 15 minutes before anyone took our orders. We asked for water for everyone but only received a few glasses...then the girl left and didn't return. Drinks and food took forever with no apologies. We were only checked on when we ordered, received food and then when we got our check. So, we really didn't have an opportunity to complain. Food was mediocre at best. Don't waste your $$ on the prime rib, pizza or chicken alfredo. The drinks, however, were on point. But that's the only good I can offer. The mandatory 20% gratuity should've been waived...if they only would've noticed or understood how lacking the service was. We were there for nearly 2 hours and left incredibly disappointed. Recommend they increase staff and reduce the menu to more manageable offerings. Until big changes are made I wouldn't return. So disappointed.

We had a party of 13 people. Understandably a big group, but the service and food was horrible! It took over an hour and 15 minutes to get all our meals. 45 minutes just to get our drinks, nothing crazy waters and soda. We ended up going to the bar several times to get our own drinks to include waters for the children in our group. Prime rib was gray in color and cold, the chicken fettuccine alfredo was more of a soup with rubbery chicken, kids pizza too chewy to eat, steak was bland and over cooked. The only person in our party that had a decent meal was the blt and fries and still only got about 8 fries.
Not worth the price and waste of what was supposed to be a nice dinner out with friends. Our bill-Dinner for 2 adults and two teens $180 and then the auto added 20% group gratuity and a mysterious 3% fee...$230.00 only to have to go get edible food else where after. Please do better!
