The food is always delicious, the owners are nice and accommodating. This is easily the best food in Yreka.

Easily a 10/10! I’m home with sick kids and this was the only food I could get my daughters to eat. They absolutely loved the banana smoothie, the quesadillas, and the papusa. I’m so grateful for this place — highly recommend. We’ll definitely be ordering again!
everything was so good.

My husband and I stopped in on our way through town on a road trip. We'll definitely be back.
We're vegetarian and they had a variety of veggie options, freshly prepared and cooked well. This was exciting because usually there are only 1 or maybe 2 papusa options.
The service was respectful and prompt. We were really glad to find a sit-down place that was quick on our drive. The atmosphere was peaceful and displayed some beautiful Salvadoran artwork too.
If you don't know what papusas are or haven't had them before, this is a great introduction! The staff were friendly and we recommend asking them about their food. They have informative blurbs in their menu and you can also look stuff up online.
The lunch specials were a great deal and provided plenty of food.
The horchata was tasty and not too sweet, and their house ice tea was very refreshing. The plantains were cooked perfectly and the tamals (not tamales) were delicious! We'd never had them before, so that was a nice treat.
Highly recommend! Will definitely be back when we make this drive several times a year.

I was spoiled eating the homemade El Salvadorian food prepared by Maria, Matriarch of Enrique's Family, while she was my landlord in Anderson. Now all the good people of the Yreka area can experience the same delicious Authentic El Salvadorian Flavors at Pupuseria La Paz on Main St. Yreka. I'm going to get back to my Tuesday Taco Special before they get cold😋❣️😋
The food here is delicious

Wonderful little place. The food was genuinely great (we've eaten a lot of pupusas, including in El Salvador). The staff was super friendly and seem like wonderful people. The restaurant itself was really nicely decorated. Price was very reasonable. Highly recommend this place.
