I feel bad to give it only 3 stars. I feel like it should be something like 3.5, but that isn't an option for the reviews. I think the food actually is good, and looks good, but it is catered to a place that doesn't handle authentic Mexican food. The spices are lacking and there also aren't a lot of options on the menu. The service was good and I felt like the people there are friendly and welcoming and the food comes out quick. Their homemade salsa for their chips...
This small family owned establishment is well worth the time to seek traveling or staying Yreka California. The chips and homemade salsa are worth the stop alone. I personally ordered the cheeseburger and fries, and my wife had the chicken nachos. Both orders were excellent and served with a smile. Across the street, there is a historical hotel that looked interesting, but we did not have the time to check it out. The sidewalk had an impression that marked it as a WPA project.

The food we got had amazing taste.
Only issue I feel we had was the stake was slightly over cooked. But it had amazing flavor.
The staff here are friendly and amazing. I will definitely be coming back another time.
