I was there on Tuesday night with the girlfriend. The staff was fantastic. I ordered the rags which was amazing. The garlic toast was to die for. The girlfriend ordered the stew. It had great flavor but was definitely on the salty side. We will be coming back and next time getting the burger.
Beautiful restaurant. Has a pretty courtyard for outside dining. Staff was attentive and pleasant. We ordered the half chicken, chicken pesto & pasta, and 2 NY Strips. The half chicken and the pasta were delicious. The steaks were seasoned well but overcooked. We asked for medium and medium well and one was almost well done and the other was well done. They offered to take them back but we were so hungry we didn't want to wait. I gave them 4 stars because the food was delicious and they offered to take them back. Had the steaks been cooked correctly I would have given 5 stars. Overall it was an enjoyable dinner and I look forward to returning.

Great food great cocktails and wonderful staff. Consistently excellent
While the food was plentiful and genuinely tasty, I would not consider this a true 'fine dining' experience. For the price, especially charging forty dollars for pasta, I expected more attention to detail. The fake sunflower on the table felt cheap, and the men's restroom was in horrendous condition and smelled disgusting. Although the person at the host stand was friendly, our actual waitress was inattentive. I ran out of water twice, and no one checked in, eventually got filled by....the owner? Or different eaitress. The drinks were enjoyable, but overall, the service and atmosphere did not justify the high prices. City Cafe and Taproom has potential, but it falls short of delivering a fine dining experience.

My husband and I went and it is a pretty restaurant and the food was pretty good as well. Our experience however, was not pretty. Our server seemed to be very out of it and a bit all over the place but we didn’t think too much of it until we saw her go to the bar and take multiple shots. She was very clumsy and kept forgetting our drinks and things and kept dropping stuff. I was disappointed that a nicer place like this would allow a server to get wasted during a shift. Sadly we will not go back due to this

I had been eagerly anticipating a visit to this establishment, as its photos suggested a remarkable dining experience. However, I found that superior options exist elsewhere. Upon arrival, the hostess appeared disengaged. Our meal took an hour to be served, and once it arrived, it lacked the quality expected at its price point. We had chosen this restaurant to celebrate our mother's birthday but unfortunately left disappointed. Additionally, obtaining refills for our coffee and water required persistent effort to locate our waitress. Given the substantial bill of $240, I had anticipated a more attentive and refined level of service. Regrettably, I will not be returning, and I would advise others to consider alternative dining options.

You’ll be fine as long as you NEVER send anything back, and the kitchen is as imperfect as we all are. The money you spend at CC won’t guarantee appreciation of it from the owner. It’s a shame, really can be a wonderful place otherwise.
I haven't been here in years but it's definitely a nice little place to hang with friends and try all their taps. They offered small bites but you could get dinner across the way. The pork wings were tasty and this cake was fantastic but the caprese salad was actually my favorite! The tomatoes were so fresh and the presentation was delicious!

Very atmospheric and cozy place. The food is very tasty. The staff is very polite and professional. They play the piano in the room. The dessert is especially delicious (lemon cheesecake). We didn't have time to try everything. I bet everything here is at a high level.

It is so hot, terrible A/C. The Taps pour straight foam. People standing near cash register making panini sandwiches-no gloves…and I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to serve food where there is no restroom. You have to go into a separate building to use a restroom.

If you are in need of some excellent customer service, then you must visit City Cafe. We were pressed for time, so we made reservations, and then the morning of, we called in our order, so within ten minutes of sitting down, our food was served. The courtyard had a lovely atmosphere, and it was so relaxing. The food was delicious, and our iced teas topped off without having to ask. Our server, Chad, was warm and friendly; the perfect combination of professional and personable.

My husband and I had our wedding reception dinner in the newly renovated, private dining room at City Café this month. Ashley P. was wonderful to work with, the food was fantastic (as usual!), the service was excellent, and the price was just right for us. Our families had a great time. We will definitely be back!
