To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Ordered their prime rib. Came out luke warm and dry as a bone. Sent it back, came out a bit better. Definitely a reheated piece of meat. Service was great. Guy was super understanding. Place truly is the Mcdonalds of steakhouses.. too bad.

I've lived here for 4 years and couldn't wait to finally try Cool Hand Luke's Steak. Wish I hadn't.
It starts with waitress telling us there's a 10 to 15 min wait while I'm looking over her shoulder and the dinning room is empty. Finally get a booth after waiting for a beer for over 15min sitting at bar. Ends up being 4-5 tables total with people all crammed in a back room and Hella loud because of it.
We get seated and the people around us are restless complaining they haven't been asked to order, where's my food and so on.
We order at the same time the table across asks can we order it's been forever. The waitress explained to them in front of everyone the waitress is having some type of break down. Seriously you just threw your co-worker under the table.
Now to the food. Ordered New York strip med........ Came out Hella well done gross. I never send food back. My date ordered steak bite dinner that was 80 percent mushroom with very little meat when separated. Food was not great by far. I've had better steaks at the place down the street that starts with an S has a few Zs and has a salad bar.
Once we were done we asked for boxes she brings 1 for 2 plates of food and beef stew that my date thought was delicious. Takes so long coming back I start looking for my own box. Once we got the bill we already knew just walk up front or we will never get out of here.
I'm in management and the problem here is you don't have a team. A team of people who have each other's back and pick up where one might fall off. It seem like no one that worked in restaurant even liked each other.
Unfortunately for the price I can't afford to take this risk again. I rather pay more for a top notch steak.
I hope you can figure out your management and employee issues it's clearly the problem. Probably a great place to eat when the train is on the tracks.

I ordered a $40 combo and got a steak that was 1/2 The size of a banana. I wanted it well done but the plate came with a puddle of blood on it. If you're looking for a steak you will get a much better service at the ranch house and a better steak for sure.

Second time in a row I’ve ordered the prime rib and it was absolutely terrible. They seared it like a streak. It was tough as hell and tasted like cooking oil. Worst I’ve ever had. They used to be really good but they just are not anymore. This is my last time going to CHL which sucks because there aren’t many options in the area.

Me and my wife walked in for dinner tonight and we're told 15 min wait which is fine, but then 6 people come in right behind us a group of 2 and one group of 4 and they offered them seats right away while we are waiting. And no they didn't have reservations. Won't br coming back.

We waited quite some time at the hostess desk (no hostess) when a person apologized and said it would be another 5 mins wait time. It was obvious they were short handed. We didn't know if that translated to the kitchen staff as well. We didn't want to take a chance on that. It's our 46th Anniversary and wanted a nice relaxing meal and a drink. So, we left. We went to Chili's and had a great meal. A nice drink and we were seated promptly. Thanks Chili's!

Wish I had taken more photos of the food but I was so taken aback by my $9 “ice cream sundae”.. apparently this is an appropriate amount of ice cream for nearly $10. That’s actually insane. What’s worse is that we actually spent almost $100 on this order for two entrees and this “sundae”.
The steak entrees were heavy in oil/butter, as in wet. The mushrooms that came with it were saturated.
The cherry on top is that they sell ice cream yet have no spoons to go.
Overall I feel pretty ripped off. Maybe the experience would have been better had we eaten there but unfortunately it is the restaurant’s responsibility to ensure a pleasant experience both there and for their to go orders.
Ribeye steak 1/4 thick lol, a taco truck is better than this

I have to say, the food was delicious. It's hard to get to Cool Hand Lukes because they're not always open, but when they are, you should go check it out.

We stopped in at the restaurant, there were few cars in the parking lot. Followed a couple in and heard them say that there’s about a 5 minute wait or they are welcome to sit at the bar. They chose to sit at the bar. We checked in and was told it was around a 5 minute wait or we could sit at the bar. We decided to wait. I watched to see if they served the couple at the bar but never did see them bring out menus just got them water. We waited for about 20 minutes and decided to leave. I just don’t feel they wanted to serve us. That’s ok. I don’t want to be somewhere I’m not wanted. We went to Happy Viking where we had amazing service. It’s sad because it was a nice restaurant years ago. Same thing with Applebees. Service just continues to go downhill. I find myself increasingly traveling Roseville, Sacramento, Woodland, or Winters. I’d rather spend my money in my community.

The bread and beans were the only thing that give this two stars. We waited over 15 minutes which is really what gave this review 2 stars, for the bread and beans. And the waiter Braiden was not good with customer service, the only words he said to us were thank you for coming in and taking our orders. No personality and made the whole dining experience 0/10

Great place to eat. Great food and service. I had the steak salad and it was delicious. We also got a bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer and they were amazing. I’d go back, I highly recommend.
