I’ve been coming to Dancing Tomato Café for years, and while it’s still a solid spot, it just doesn’t have the same spark it used to. The service used to be top-notch about five years ago—friendly, quick, and consistent—but lately it feels a bit less attentive.
As for the food, it’s good, but it lacks the bold flavors that once made this place stand out. I especially miss their ravioli—it used to be the best around, rich and flavorful with a sauce that left you wanting more. I wish they could bring that recipe (and that magic) back.
Still, the atmosphere is warm, the menu is diverse, and there’s potential for greatness again. I’m rooting for them to step it back up.

Regina is a wonderful bartender, provided perfect pairing recommendations for our dinner. Roasted garlic with toastettes and penne pasta was delicious. Finished with a perfect blueberry bread pudding.

I have been here only a couple of times. But they have not disappointed me. The first visit I got a Caesar salad. My favorite though is their chicken cordon bleu! My husband got the merlot steak and raved about it. Next I need to try their breakfast menu.

After dropping $100+ on what was a fairly simple meal (3 items) for my wife and I after a long day, the order shows up with her meal incorrect. As a result the next hour+ involves trying to resolve the issue, while neither of us gets to enjoy our "expensive meal".
Dancing Tomato takes NO responsibility for getting the order wrong even though the printed receipt from them states they added chicken when they did not. DoorDash offers a fractional refund, which doesn't address the fact that both my wife and I have not had dinner now. Bravo to DoorDash, the corporate monster, for at least attempting to make things right even though it wasn't their fault. Shame on Dancing Tomato for not taking the initiative to solve an "in-house" problem locally. I know, I know - a first world problem, but $100 is a $100.

We we're greeted with a smile immediately even though workers and front of the house were tasked and helped out on the floor mid day! Food was hot, cheese pull on the mozzarella sticks 10/10. The chicken breast's for the tenders are really quality. The Caprese sandwich was also very tender. Great taste! Service was amazing. Waiter checked in on us several times to ensure we were taken care of. Love how this place is American/ Hispanic influenced with their menu diversity. Will definitely go back for breakfast!
Had breakfast the other day, ordered the 2x2x2, which is 2 eggs, 2 meats and french toast. I like their french toast. Like everywhere in CA, the prices you pay for what you get is ridiculous but don’t blame the businesses.
