did a quick Google search review trying to find a bakery that specialized in sourdough in red bluff, specifically. almost no one makes sourdough loaves in house and especially ones that are not cut, which is not what my son wants. sourdough is the only bread my son eats and he only likes Bodine and occasionally when Pie meets bread, otherwise he rejects pretty much all other sourdough because it tastes too much like wheat bread. found this place and within a minute or two I was talking to the owner/baker who happened to have one loaf of exactly what we needed and the transaction was done in just a few minutes. it's a very cute little unassuming setup with a shed packed with goodies at fair prices. very very friendly owner and we are definitely going to order from her from now on for our sourdough necessities!
Really aggravated with myself that it took me so long to try this place. Can absolutely see why they have so many great reviews. If you're looking for a well made breakfast or lunch in a historical part of town with a great vibe and filled with great people. You shouldn't wait as long as me to try it out..🤦♂️Thank you Alysia for making us feel welcomed!
Update* I've probably been to this restaurant a dozen times now and they have never disappointed me or anyone I'm ever with. It's always a friendly vibe, clean and I have yet to order something that I haven't loved, although I tend to lean towards the mother-clucker or the Lamberts Benny's 😉
Thank you again!

Not sure what's happened to this place but I've going to Lambert's since it was Sundowner. The servers are rude and seem to think that it's ok to not refill my drinks, not ask how we're doing, check to see if the food is good or if we need anything else. We also waited 10 mins to sit down which isn't bad but then had to wait 45 mins for an omelet and some tacos. Oh and don't forget about constint flies buzzing in your face and on your food. The food finally came and just tasted mediocre at best. Will not be going again anytime soon unfortunately since I used to love this place and have been going there for the past 10 years.
Food was great and portions are a good size. Busy Sunday morning so not really quiet to have a serious conversation. Would consider going back when in the area.

This place rocks! The Loaded Manmosa with a craspy mini waffle, bacon, tots, a DONUT, AND FRUITS, eggs benedict was bomb, bacon with crispy and service was amazing!

Ate here twice, first time it was a great experience, servers were attentive even though it was busy, got to sit outside because it was full inside (this is the norm due to the seating), food was delicious and fulfilling. Second time experience was worse unfortunately, sat inside and go attacked by flies, suggest don’t sit next to the window seatings. There were a-lot of flys inside this time unfortunately. servers were busy with catering to customers, which is expected and they were helping but food didn’t taste as good as the first time around, tasted and felt rushed.

I can agree with other posts….
The pancakes were very good if you like them on the thinner side(I do). The food was good. But there’s more to it than food to make a good restaurant. Like other posts mentioned the cooks were good but the service was not. To mention a few specifics, service took a while, no one asked to refill my coffee, waitress hardly acknowledged us. Little communication except with people she knew (we were outsiders). I did NOT get that warm friendly feeling there that some locals wrote about. Maybe we hit an off day for service.
Conclusion: first time there and we did not have a nice overall experience.

We didn’t expect the whole bill comped but an apology would have been nice. We found a dead fly in the pancake syrup dispenser bottle that we had used but didn’t see the fly in until after the pancakes were half eaten. We showed the server and she took the dispenser and showed it to the manager. Nothing was mentioned and they just brought us the full $72 bill. At least have the decency to say something. The place has good service and good food, (except for the dead fly). A terrible manager at a decent restaurant that is now a permanent no. I’ll let my friends know.
I ordered the meat lovers omelette with hash browns and a pancake. The omelette was delicious, the eggs were cooked to perfection and so was all of the meat. The bacon was crispy but not burnt. The hash browns were good, nothing special but it's kinda hard to mess up hash browns. The real star of the show for me was the pancake. One of the fluffiest pancakes I've ever had, I was a little sad when I finished eating because I wouldn't get to eat any more pancakes.
You would think biscuits and gravy would be something hard to mess up but this place achieves the impossible. I thought the gravy and sausage was fine, but the excuse they use for a biscuit had me scraping the only edible thing off for food on the plate.
The biscuits were as if someone took cornbread, made it even lighter in texture, and made sure it was devoid of all flavor.
Staff was nice though, 2/5.

Came in for the hype. Got the Biscuit and Gravy and Cajun Benedict. Biscuits and gravy were undercooked. Gravy tasted like flour. Biscuits were very doughy. The Cajun Benedict was delicious. Waitress was very attentive. Ambience was cozy, southern, farm vibe.

Came to have breakfast on a Wednesday morning. There was no wait but quickly filled up afterward around 10:00 a.m.. it took a while to have somebody take our order. We ordered the bacon plate, and the Lambert's blenny, And got a short stack of buttermilk pancakes to share. The pancakes were really large and very thin. I thought they were very good. The bacon was a bit undercooked. The potatoes on both dishes were okay but I felt like they needed a little bit more seasoning. I was happy with my eggs benedict, it was a healthy serving of Hollandaise sauce. Some of the restaurant was a little on the dirty side. But they look like they have a lot of good items to choose from for lunch, so maybe coming back to try that. If you were interested. Ended up paying $53 for two of us.

Nice spot for brunch in yuba. Very accommodating with the menu. Went with the entire family and everyone was easily able to pick out a dish of their choice with all their food restrictions. Veggie burger was delicious. I had the biscuit and gravy (half portion). It’s very rare that you can get the gravy meatless at places however they accommodated well. Fair warning, portions are large. Seating is limited on the inside but outdoor is available. Would recommend reservation for holidays like Mother’s Day. All in all my fav brunch spot in yuba city thus far.
