First time trying this place today! The cashier’s customer service was amazing as she recommended me some of their most popular food options. She was super patient, kind, and helpful. I ended up getting the chicken katsu with curry and it was so delicious. Will definitely recommend this place to my peers.
Great food and price overall (chicken katsu, BBQ chicken, spicy chicken BBQ beef). Pork buns and masubu are meh (too much rice vs meat). Nice staff. Simple, plain, clean interior.
I don't know of many Hawaiian BBQ spots in the Yuba Sutter area, but this one has it down pat! The portions are generous and delicious! They have all the Hawaiian BBQ flavorites and at very reasonable price. The staff is always extremely friendly and always gives my daughter a small toy.

We visited for the first time on Saturday for a late lunch. We were greeted right away with a friendly "Aloha!" We ordered the Catsu chicken and regular spicy chicken. The portion of the Catsu chicken was generous. Their original Catsu sauce is delicious, but their best sauce is the teriyaki. Their macaroni salad is creamy and delicious too. Plus, they're right by Goodwill...bonus!
The food was a little too salty I wish it was less salty but it was still good.

We come from the Bay Area where we had a ton of Hawaiian Bbq joints. My husband grew up in Hawaii. I have been to Hawaii once. Since we moved here we always wished there was a place like this here, there finally is and Nalu did not disappoint. Huge portions, huge flavor. So good! Bbq beef, chicken, ribs, fish, prawns, chicken katsu, Mac salad, and really good rice.
