My wife and I tried Pineapple Hawaiian BBQ in Yuba for the first time tonight. The restaurant and sitting area was clean, the service was wonderful, the prices were reasonable and the portions were large. Most importantly, the food was DELICIOUS! We will be happy to come back!!

The food here is great, the servers are accommodating and kind. the plates are priced SOOO well, especially when we consider what we get elsewhere for the same... The new owners have made huge improvements to the atmosphere, and the environment of the instore dining. I'm not sure if anyone really went to the restaurant before they moved in.. but it was... not ideal. Now the restaurant is visibly clean, the bathrooms are clean, the tables are clean, and they actually have heating and air.
My favorite dish here is the BBQ chicken plate, but I also love the chicken Katsu. I come here at least 1-3 times a week, whether its a full plate, a mini meal or a mixed plate.
I also use Pineapple for catering for an event I had at work. I was a regular, but they offered me some great deals and we were able to come in well under budget, for a great amount of food, which was a huge hit at my workplace... I plan to come back all the time.
I told my friend about it, who has a family of 9, of which most are boys/men, who when they go out, have to cash out their savings... about this place.... She said that for 2 of pineapples family dinners, she was able to serve her whole family, for about 10-11 bucks a piece.. with LEFTOVERS which is super unheard of nowadays.

Ordered the katsu & BBQ combo for delivery, and I'm absolutely blown away. This is some of the best food in Yuba Sutter! A perfect mix of sweet, salty, filling, and refreshing.

Fantastic food and friendly service. Chicken Katsu, fire Vocano chicken, teriyaki chicken, BBQ beef, and fried shrimp are some of the best meals. Mini-meals are a great value and a good way to try them out. Was in there last Saturday and there was a talented lady playing a Chinese zither for us. Great restaurant!

We loved our lunch at Pineapple Hawaiian BBQ!
We placed an order for teriyaki chicken, Hawaiian BBQ chicken, and two pineapple chicken plates. The chicken was so tender and absolutely delicious.
The atmosphere is along the lines of a little hole in the wall place. Perhaps that will change in the future, but it has a certain character of its own.
It did take about 15-20 minutes for our food to be prepared, but we appreciated that fact because the food was fresh and hot. We prefer to wait for our food rather than having food sitting and waiting for the next customer.
We can't wait for our next trip to Yuba City for another meal at Pineapple Hawaiian BBQ!

Ordered the chicken katsu with some spam musubis and let me just say the food is Amazing!! The HUGE plus are the portions!! You will not be left hungry that is for sure! Highly recommend this spot!
