The food at this restaurant is excellent, to the extent I’ve found myself eating one meal a day from Pineapple… it’s not only the food but the family that runs it are extremely kind. They go out of the way to make me feel welcome and like they actually care. It’s a rare thing in this cynical world we all find ourselves. If I were to see a negative comment regarding the work/service this restaurant does for the community, I’d have to take it with a grain of salt because I’ve only had great food and great service from a family that works hard for their patrons.

Becca and Jimmy are a wonderful couple and serve up the most delicious Hawaiian food! The Fire Volcano chicken is the best!!! They make everything from scratch and it’s made fresh with a very popular take-out menu. If you like teriyaki sauce, Jimmy makes the best! And their macaroni salad is absolutely wonderful! We finally found our favorite place to eat in the Yuba City area!!!
My wife and I tried Pineapple Hawaiian BBQ in Yuba for the first time tonight. The restaurant and sitting area was clean, the service was wonderful, the prices were reasonable and the portions were large. Most importantly, the food was DELICIOUS! We will be happy to come back!!

The food here is great, the servers are accommodating and kind. the plates are priced SOOO well, especially when we consider what we get elsewhere for the same... The new owners have made huge improvements to the atmosphere, and the environment of the instore dining. I'm not sure if anyone really went to the restaurant before they moved in.. but it was... not ideal. Now the restaurant is visibly clean, the bathrooms are clean, the tables are clean, and they actually have heating and air.
My favorite dish here is the BBQ chicken plate, but I also love the chicken Katsu. I come here at least 1-3 times a week, whether its a full plate, a mini meal or a mixed plate.
I also use Pineapple for catering for an event I had at work. I was a regular, but they offered me some great deals and we were able to come in well under budget, for a great amount of food, which was a huge hit at my workplace... I plan to come back all the time.
I told my friend about it, who has a family of 9, of which most are boys/men, who when they go out, have to cash out their savings... about this place.... She said that for 2 of pineapples family dinners, she was able to serve her whole family, for about 10-11 bucks a piece.. with LEFTOVERS which is super unheard of nowadays.
