I been coming here when I was a kid 10 years ago, and Sun’s still has impeccable food and service.
To me this is a role model for what other restaurants should be.

Just had a fantastic takeout lunch! Su, who took my order, was super friendly. I got the bibimbap, and it was perfectly spicy, sweet, and savory. It had rice, a fried egg, spinach, seaweed, carrot, kimchi, bean sprouts, and mushrooms. The gochujang sauce was delicious, and my food was ready quickly and still warm. It seems like the dining room might not be open yet, as I couldn't get the door to open, but I highly recommend trying their food for takeout! It would be awesome if they expanded their menu to include more traditional Korean dishes down the road, maybe something like Gyeran Bap or Ddukbaegi Gyeran Jjim.

I don't want to leave a bad review. I drove an hour and found out they closed at 2:00 pm. If you close a bit early it's understandable. 30 mins? Thanks for ruining my day. Please change your opening hours. I will delete my one star after.

I had an incredible experience at this Korean restaurant! The service was friendly and professional, and our server was happy to recommend some great dishes. We ordered the barbecue beef and fried chicken, both were bursting with flavors. The ambiance was perfect—charming traditional decor with a modern twist, making it feel warm and intimate. The soft background music added a nice touch, creating a relaxed environment. I’ll definitely be back to enjoy more of their delicious food!

We were so happy to have found Sun’s Cafe while visiting Yuba City. We were looking for breakfast and noticed the 5-star reviews here on Google. Trust them! I’m adding another 5stars because not only is the food excellent, you’ll feel like you stepped into a family’s home, with the kindest owners in the kitchen preparing your food to order and serving with a smile. We felt so welcomed that we came back the second morning. The breakfast is seriously good. We only wished we could have stayed one more day so we could try the lunch items they had, a mix of Japanese and Korean favorites. I hope we will find ourselves back in Yuba City so we can visit this gem again. Recommend the omelette with avocado, tomato and spinach, the pancakes, the French toast, the udon noodles, the Denver omelette. Really you can’t go wrong with anything here.
