OWNER ABUSIVE TO STAFF!!! I have been to this place about a have a dozen times. We loved this place. The kids are so respectful and hardworking. Today was a sickening experience. The owner was there. He was degrading and abusive to the staff. He was so critical and controlling over one particular worker who is so sweet and docile. The owner is an unhealed man-child turned bully.

To hear how a person could talk to anyone this way, let alone someone who will never stick up for himself made me ill. It was difficult to enjoy my meal. I was fighting back tears thinking how bad this person must need this job to endure each moment with this insecure abuser. Im not thin skinned. Thats what makes this so bad. To me kids need to toughen up. But this was straight abuse.

I will always call ahead to make sure the owner is never there when I go. I can't afford to buy food I'm too disgusted to finish. The employees are what makes this place a wonderful experience, but the owner made me literally cry.

I understand business is hard. But this was mommy dearest. It made him feel big to come down on someone who was forced to take it because they need the job so badly.

Great pizza. Tasted more authentic than chains.

Honestly one of the best customer service experiences I have had in a long time. One of the employees offered to help my wife setup a highchair, consistantly checked to make sure we had everything we needed, for my toddlee he checked to see if what we had ordered was for him and made it so it be easier for him to eat. Also they offered to hold our desert until we were done eating.

mak’s pizza saved my life. i was on the way to the ER and mak flagged me down on the side of live oak blvd to come into the shop and she said and i quote, “ay im walkin ‘ere, com’a get a pizza!” and i ate that pizza and it turns out i was suffering from need-a-good-pizza-itis, because i am cured now. not only am i cured, i am better than ive ever been. my bloodline thanks you Mak. my first born will carry your name.

We have tried every pizza place in this area as we just moved here. Pizza has lost its appeal to me. No more pride in pizza. Our pizza had about a table spoon of sauce and their pictures online showed the cheese falling off. This was one of the worst. People giving this pizza high stars are friends, family or just don’t know any better.

If you're looking for real home made style pizza dough, you will love this place. The pizza dough has no chemical taste or that sugar sweet cardboard chew like in a frozen one. The ingredients are fresh and nicely spaced on the pie.

The pizza there is very very good all natural ingredients it tasted great the cheese was fresh everything was great we ordered cheese sticks I've never had some cheese sticks that taste so good and everything was super good about the atmosphere other than that it's a great place great service everybody was asking if we needed anything they brought plates and everything everything was great I would definitely go back again it is a little pricey but you get what you pay for and it's well worth it

Vegetarian options: I'm in the vegetables on a pizza would be probably fresh because the ones that were on our pizza were fresh and tasted excellent Star Pizza vegetarian style should be really good fresh ingredients

Parking: Parking is no problem plenty of parking

Kid-friendliness: I say it's kid friendly because I mean the pizza but it's a small place that it's better to take home but you could also eat there and they're really good as far as service too
