This small and newly established Syrian - Mediterranean eatery was really charming and reminiscent of a typical eatery catering to locals in the Middle East. Jennifer and I both enjoyed a wonderful dinner and very friendly service. I wanted to share this as an idea for others in our area to visit when desiring some authentic Mediterranean food. The flat breads didn't seem in house made. Other than that everything on the plate was delicious. Chicken was probably the best tasting.

It was our first time at this restaurant. We met our kids at Damasco restaurant and was pleasantly surprised at the high quality of food and service. My boyfriend and I came from Palm Springs and his daughter and her husband came from Riverside and met up in Yucaipa. I chose this place because of the high rating in Yelp and Google and it didn’t disappoint. I would go back to this place.

Excellent food, service and the place is very clean. My husband and I shared the falafel plate, hummus, tabbouleh salad, and a couple pieces of kibbie. We went there for lunch and had enough left to take home for dinner. It was such a pleasure having authentic fresh food and talking to the owner. Thank you, we will be back!
Most authentic food you can try in the area. Very clean and great hospitality. I tried chicken Shawarma wrap, humus and falafel. Also their lentil soup, with a squeeze of lemon, is a must have.
The real jewel is inside the place. My wife and I were staying in town for the weekend. We researched local restaurants in Yucaipa and came across Damasco Mediterranean Cuisine so we decided to trot over from our hotel. The restaurant is located next to a thrift shop and Dollar General but don’t judge the place by that.The food was awesome and flavorful. The food was cooked in a reasonable amount of time and the service was excellent. It was nice to sit and eat in a relaxing environment.My wife had decided on the chicken kabob plate and I had the beef kabob plate. The plate came with salad, hummus, pickled turnips and rice. And we got the grape leaves as an appetizer. Very delicious!They really work hard to please the customer.Give the place a try. The dining area isn’t super fancy but the food certainly makes up for it. Quite a few people came in for take-out but we ate in.
This place is the diamond in the rough. Food is absolutely FABULOUS, everything we tried was very good, the service is great and very friendly. The eating area is very simple but peaceful. This place is a MUST for all to try. We will be back again and again.
