Juanita’s Cakes will be my forever Go To place for whenever I need a cake as well as treats. Juanita’s Cakes went above and beyond to make sure my baby’s first birthday party was a success. She made a 2 tier cake with banana filling that was sooooo good! It was so moist some thought it was tres leches. She also made the cutest Rice Krispie treats and decorative cookies. I found her very accommodating, she matched the cake, cookies and treats to go with my lemonade theme.If you’re reading this review take it as if a friend was referring you to someone you will be happy with…because you will be.

The first time i talked with her it all sounded good, she was going to make my wedding cake…Anytime i tried calling her she never answered, the only contact i had with her was through google map’s messaging…couple days before the wedding we were still on track…she was to deliver the cake to the venue, wedding was at 4pm. Come wedding day she messaged me a couple hours before the wedding (she could called). Something told me to check for messages and sure enough there was one from Juanita stating that she couldn’t deliver my cake, that i needed to find someone to pick it up. So i needed to stop getting ready for my wedding and start calling people to see if they could pick it up, during this time i tried calling Juanita a few different times with no answer. The only person that I was able to get to go and pick it up was my daughter. She was going to be singing during my wedding, so she needed to stop what she was doing to go pick it up. Juanita told me to have my daughter call her when she was 5 min away of picking up the cake…mind you Juanita never once answered when i called her. So the cake was picked up, and it was very pretty and cute just as i wanted. Everyone was excited to have a piece of the cake…it was chocolate cake and it was supposed to be chocolate fudge in the middle…I’m not sure what was in the middle, it looked like chocolate fudge but it didn’t taste like it. The cake was VERY VERY DRY and the stuff in the middle was disgusting. My guest that had some took 1 bite and then threw it away, we ended up throwing the whole thing away. And of course when I tried to get ahold of Juanita she never answered her phone and has not responded to my message…I only gave her 1 star because it was cute

Juanita was awesome, very professional, was able to do 10 dozen treats on short notice and was able to do the cookies just like the photos I sent her. We also had cake pops and mini cup cakes that turned out so cute. Everything was great and she even delivered the sweets to us at our son's 1st birthday party at the park. We will definitely be ordering from her again. See photos below (chocolate covered pretzel and little cake were brought by a guest), theme was Frog Prince.
