I got the smash burger with garlic parm fries and it was pretty good. However it cost $19.40 which is pretty expensive for a burger and some fries. Service was great.

There were only 3 tables of people and it took an hour after ordering to get our food. When the food came, some of it was cold. The brisket burger was not good. If you order the Chicken Pot Pie or the BBQ Mac and cheese, expect it to be the size of an appetizer. The restarting was really cold. When asked how much longer it will take for the food, the waitress was rude. While waiting for food, the waitress never came to ask if we needed anything. When I eventually asked for a refill on my water, it never came. When we got our food, the waitress never checked on us.overall, cold restaurant, bad service, small portions.

I really liked their service and I recommend the breakfast. I like the type of theme it has, it is very cozy and has that old-fashioned touch.... I personally like where it is located and the cold climate... ...and with its fireplace.....???????

My niece and her teenage children & I stopped here for lunch today because the pictures online looked like delicious food.
Waited over 20 minutes to be seated, another wait for our order to be taken. Over 45 minutes for our food, cold cheese fries, cheese never melted, cold eggs, cold appetizers, ordered orange soda but got pineapple.
Maybe they just don't like Natives there because the other time we went in wasn't much better. But we will never go back. Place sucked all the way around.

Porkchop was large. A bit bland as they were out of gravy. Very nice for the price.

We drove half an hour to have breakfast at this place, they were closed, even though the website said open 8:30am to 8pm. We will NOT be back!

Great place to visit after a long day at the apples u-pick. Jocelyn welcomed us in, with warm friendly face. She was awesome recommending the dishes and the food was great. Not big portion, but definitely suffecient.
Great country atmosphere with beautiful farm decor.

Kid-friendliness: Welcoming staff, kids menu.

I don’t really like writting bad reviews but this place was no good to us! My family and I went to lunch on Sunday. The place wasn’t packed at all! The girl serving us was nice. But bad service! We ordered food, plain cheeseburger for our kids to share. It didn’t come plain so we had to send it back. The server came and took the burger and check it like we were lying. Then they served us a salad with an Italian dressing in a glass container that was broken. We got glass in our salad. We picked it out and showed the server the glass and she just apologized. And took the broken Italian container. Never offered a new salad or anything. I didn’t want to complain anymore so we left it. The owner was there too and never came out to us considering they were slow and we had 2 issues. I don’t even know if he knew we had glass in our food! With the glass being the main issue… we will not be returning!

My girlfriend and I came when they had a big party going on. The staff was very apologetic about the wait time, which given the circumstances wasn't that long. The food was well worth the wait. I had the Brisket Coma Burger with onion rings, all of which was excellent, maybe the best burger I've ever had. My girlfriend had the chilli which was equally excellent. The owner Kasha (spelling?) was friendly, came out to meet us and talked for a couple minutes. The wait staff, who's names I forgot after two beers, were fantastic as well, very warm and welcoming, attentive without being too attentive. All around excellent experience, can't recommend this place enough.

Went there for lunch on Thursday in August 2024.
Door was locked. No one home. Are you still in business?

I had one of the best Monte Cristo breakfast sandwiches around. They had a good selection of breakfast at an economic price that beats a lot places these days. Very friendly welcoming and service. Other breakfast items included: a large bbq brisket omelet, kids menu, and other delicious options. The atmosphere was also very quiet, clean and rustic style that invites you into the Yucaipa mountains.

Parking: Parking is huge and there are lots of cute little shops next door with things to do before or after your meal.

Kid-friendliness: Options for kids are cheap.

Wheelchair accessibility: Pretty easy to get wheelchair in.

This is a relatively new restaurant in Oak Glen. They have taken over another business. A nice breakfast and lunch menu. Initially we were the only group of four in for lunch. During our 90 minutes there one other family with two small children came in. We were told weekends are slammed, weekdays are light. The bakery area was not stocked or open. We were told on most weekends they do stock the area, but that the baked goods don't do well with no A/C. Our service was quick and food came out rapidly. Our orders included chicken fried steak which was superb. We also ordered loaded baked potatoes with brisket. Orders really looked good and were large portions. One of the baked potatoes was ice cold in the middle which we took back to the kitchen. We were told the ovens were old and apparently have hot and cold areas, and are going to be replaced soon. OK. New place. It happens. The other potato was perfect. So it was all good for a try and hope kinks will be worked out soon. BTW. You will love the restrooms....

Parking: The area off the street entry is a bit sloped so be careful walking.

Kid-friendliness: There are enough kid items on the menu or can be split, so if you are dragging the kidlets up for the weekend you will manage fine.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room between tables and aisles to be comfortable. Parking lot is a bit sloped so heads up. I have no idea about restroom accessibility. The entry I used had two or three steps. Did not see any ramps.

Went for the Wednesday special, which is a $29 filet mignon. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly, and was very high quality beef. We had the brussel sprouts as our side. Our table of 5 shared a small apple pie, (and a bottle of the Lohr Cab). Prices of everything was super reasonable. The server was very attentive. Will be taking advantage of this amazing special as long as they have it!
