We shared a wonderful country fried steak with white gravy for breakfast this morning. He had the eggs1/2 the steak and hash browns and I had the biscuit and half the steak. OMG was it good! They were very busy but still the service was great! Being the picky person that I am I really appreciate the colorful dishes and nice flatware. Thank you For a wonderful experience.

We have always enjoyed the food at Oak House but recently our experience with the service was very poor. We were greeted quickly and sitted. Ordered our food (food good) but the food wasn't delivered for a good 30 minutes and I might mention there was only one other table that had 2 people in the restaurant. My guess had coffee but had to ask for a refill when our food was delivered. No napkins on the table with silverware, had to ask for them. Our waiter was never seen except when he brought food out to other customers. After an hour he came to our table to take the dishes away. I had to ask for our check. Service is a big part of why people choose a restaurant to eat at. When a person orders coffee at $4.25 they expect to have refills without asking. I do hope Oak House improves their servers with training. Not sure when we will return.

Great service, food was good. We had a group of 12 and not one was disappointed in what they ordered.
I always think a server should appoach the table and tell the guests their names. Here they havent the few times ive gone. They are friendly and attentive though! Love the food and a lot to look at. They give free peanuts out to feed their birds ouside too which is very cool. Parking is limited.

It was our 33rd anaversy and we were so happy we chose Oak Glen to celebrate It, reservations were perfect, even though I had to modify them twice, food was perfect , service was superb, they even had a little plack on the table for our anaversy. Everything was perfect including the service. We'll definently be back. Go there for one fantastic evening. Judge Robert Fawke

I haven't been here in YEARS. And I was definitely impressed with all the renovations they did in my time away. I like the open concept design of the place. The food was good. Only major complaint I have is the prices. It was $30 for 2 people. But definitely qaulity food. Service was efficient and good.

Stopped for breakfast on our way home to AZ from weekend in Big Bear. Walked in and immediately greeted. Breakfast was delicious and good-sized portions. Biscuits and gravy were some of the best I've had. Excellent customer service and great atmosphere. Always prefer to support small business than chains.
The waffle and eggs and sausage are good but the price was still high we had one server but I had to wait for my coffee but all in all I gave you six stars two thumbs up

I got the country fried steak. My wife got the chilaquiles. The country fried steak was ok at best. Away too much gravy. Drowned out the biscuit and steak. The chilaquiles were really spicy even the ones that were supposed to be milder. Really spicy but not great on flavor. The staff was good, friendly and great service.
