Is not an all you can eat place that's my only complaint.

PEOPLE OF COLOR BEWARE!!! RACIST male behind sushi counter! Went there with my mom tonight for dinner and will not be coming back. Took 10 minutes to be acknowledged and about 25 to get our food. We got our Salmon Dinner Plate first even though we ordered edamame' as an appetizer and the plate comes with a soup and salad. Once my mom went to ask the guy at the sushi station about the soup and salad he continuously ignored her and told her that the waitress is coming. He wouldn't even hear her out. Once the soup and salad arrived the leaves on the salad were literally frozen. At the very end of our meal my mom noticed she did not receive the edamame she ordered and went to ask the guy behind the counter. He gave her the edamame with no apology and just started laughing in a mocking way. I felt that the male behind the counter had something against our color. He made us wait and did not come take our order but took another groups order and delivered it to them. Definitely a racist man and I will never go back there again! If the waitress girl sees this you are doing a great job but the dude needs to go

Amazing Food and Amazing Service!! Brought out our rolls within 10 minutes of ordering and they currently have 30% off certain rolls ALL DAY everyday. Best Sushi spot in Yucaipa.

It's a place that kids like. The prices are cheap, and I'm looking forward to it because they're starting to serve Japanese-style ramen and Korean-style ramen. It's a famous restaurant, so I think it'll be loved by a lot of people.

So I walked in this place on a Tuesday at 1pm.. not a soul in sight. So I told myself I'm writing a review no matter the outcome. I got an appetizer (dragon egg) and a baby lobster roll to go. Total was $29. The dragon egg was ok. The baby lobster roll was TERRIBLE. Lobster was crisp and not fresh tasting, the shrimp tempura inside was soggy. It was not good, I ate a few bites then figured I should stop because I might get sick from it.. won't be returning. But if ur looking for sushi local, 21 sushi in Calimesa is always good.

Ordered from this restaurant the other night and was greatly disappointed. Might as well be Stater Bros sushi or gas station sushi. Dry rice and very bland.

I love their food, and it's a great hole in the wall. I'm just surprise that it's not often busy when I go here. They have great options to choose from. They don't just have sushi. They do have bento meals, noodles, and delicious appetizers. I'll be coming back for more. Try their Dragon Egg!

Our family tries to have sushi at least once a month at Sugoi Sushi and have always enjoyed their food. Our grandson, his wife and three young children join us and even the kids, 7, 5, and 2 all enjoy sushi and love going. The sushi chef does a great job and the presentation looks delicious. We've never had a complaint about the quality of the food and we always leave satisfied. Service is sometimes slow but they are having trouble hiring extra help and we often have only one person serving us. I like the setup of the counter and sushi making section. We will continue making Sugoi Sushi a special night out.

This was beyond bad. Red flag #1. Men's restroom was not clean. On top of that, the soap dispenser in the restroom did not work. Not having clean restrooms is one of those things that can't be given a pass when it comes to an eating establishment and it makes you question how your food is being prepared. To be fair, the gender neutral restroom was a tad bit cleaner and did have working soap dispenser.Red flag #2 I Ordered a dragon roll which has shrimp tempura. One of the best things about a tempura roll is you get the combination of hot and cold from the freshly fried tempura and the cold sushi rice. Not here. The shrimp tempura was room temperature, which means it had just been sitting around, which begs the question of exactly how long it had been sitting around. I also decided to try the Black tiger roll off the recommendation of the waitress. The spicy tuna had a good amount of heat. But again this roll had the same fate as the first. Soggy, room temperature shrimp not prepared fresh for your order. Considering we were the only table in the restaurant at the time of arrival it makes me wonder exactly how far in advance this shrimp was cooked.Service was ok, a little bit slow considering by the time we left we were one of the only tables in there on a Thursday night. But the servers were friendly and polite. Overall would not return due to the lack of cleanliness and the lack of freshness, in a sushi restaurant of all places.
