Very frustrated with Lucky Bamboo. It feels like service is declining. I wanted to order take-out and called 3 times over a 20 min period and no one picked up. When I drove by a couple minutes later, they were open and serving people.
Now they didn't include half my order in the bag and the food was not great.

I used to really like them but it feels like both service and food quality is declining. At least there is still China Garden!

Most Alamosa residents would agree that Lucky Bamboo serves the best Asian cuisine in the SLV!

Vegetarian options: They serve all veggies except water chestnuts.

The curry was phenomenal. One thing that they could improve on is less veggies, more chicken! The shrimp lo mein on the other hand was debatable. Even though it came with rice and an eggroll, the portion of the actual lo mein was small (only 1/3 of the plate) rather than what you except at other chinese restaurants where the portion is the whole plate. The prices were cheap. Waitresses were very polite and patient. Atmosphere was cool.

A local resident recommended this restaurant and we were so glad we ate here.

My husband got the cashew chicken and I got the sweet and sour pork. Each lunch entree comes with main course, egg roll, fried rice, fried cheese won ton, and choice of won ton soup , egg drop soup , or hot and sour soup. You can substitute an egg roll for the soup. Our meals were delicious!

Parking: There are two public parking lots very close to this restaurant. Parking on the street can be congested.

All the locals say this is the best place in town. But Panda Express is better. I’ve ate here twice and both times have been a 2/5. The teriyaki chicken is made with the tiniest pieces of chicken and tasteless. And the orange chicken was just blah as best. Whatever they cooked the orange chicken in had burnt things in it. Maybe vegetables.
