Tried to dine at My Brother’s 2-23-24 around 6-ish. Called several times and received the “no voicemail box” set up message. We decided to drive to town and upon arrival there was a sign posted that read “closed - sold out,” but the door was open and two people on their way in stated to us, “they don’t always have enough food.” Strange. I wish places would leave phone messages about their open or closed status. This happens so frustratingly often in the valley.

We stopped in to grab a slice. The man working at the front said we are sold out. We asked where else can we get some food? A man cooking pizza said go back where you came from. Wow!

Best pizza west of Mobile! Family owned and run- this is really the finest pizza we’ve seen in the SLV. Service was great, beer choices are stellar, and the upstairs setting in that old brick building was really warm and cozy! We drive all the way from Creede for this treat! … and we’ll be back!

The food was pretty good and the prices were fair. A single slice is $4.50, but the slices are quite large. There was only one waitress working the whole floor during our visit, so she was understandably very busy. The waitress was nice enough, but the other staff and owner created an unwelcoming atmosphere, hardly acknowledging their customers' presences.

Talk about a hidden spot in Alamosa this one is it. If it had not been for a friend of ours recommending this I would have never seen it and have missed in the last six and a half years we have lived in this area. Talk about awesome meatballs and pizza this place is it. Conveniently located downtown on the north side of main Street this establishment is wonderful. Be sure to Google it as the storefront is very small because the main area is upstairs. We will be back be sure to check out the menu.
