Nice looking restaurant and the service was friendly and efficient. Too bad the food wasn't that good. Not recommended.

The waitress who was an older lady, didn't ask me at all throughout the time I was there if I wanted more water yet asked the people I was with multiple times. Not sure if the owner even did anything about this disgraceful waitress when I made a complaint. And the food isn't very impressive either.

Most people walk into Oscar’s and get stuck on the walls, the furniture, or the “ambiance” — as if they came here for trendy decor and Instagram vibes. Don’t make that mistake. Oscar’s is not about polished aesthetics or catering to the entitled. It’s about food, culture, and heart.
The people in the kitchen aren’t just “cooks.” They’re craftsmen, passing down the religion of Mexican food with every tortilla, every simmering pot of chile, every plate that leaves the stove. You can taste the hours, the fatigue, the love in the way the flavors hit you. This isn’t fast casual. This is authenticity, and authenticity doesn’t wear makeup.
If you want flash, go somewhere else. If you want real Mexican food — the kind that makes you sit back and realize this is what food is supposed to taste like — then this little spot in Alamosa is it.
Oscar’s proves that good food doesn’t need mood lighting or curated playlists. The only thing curated here is flavor, and they serve it up in a way that reminds you why food is culture, tradition, and family.

Phenomenal mexican food at a decent price. Service was top tier. Excellent green chili.
We went to eat at Oscar’s yesterday. WARNING the green chilie was horrible! It was overpowered with cumin and oregano, one bite and I sent it back! If you go to Oscar’s stick with the cheeseburgers. Oh we still payed over $40 dollars for inedible stuffed sopapillas 😡🤢🤮
We went to Oscar’s for dinner and ordered we got our food we took one bite and found the most disgusting green chili I have ever eaten we told the waitress they didn’t even try to make us anything else just handed us the bill for food we couldn’t eat it was horrible I would never eat there again I’ll go across the parking lot to the ruby slipper where I have never been disappointed

A family of 5 used to get out of there around 50 to 60 bucks with tip.
It was near 80 dollars this go round. Food still great.

Had a wonderful lunch at Orlando's. Staff is so nice. If I could get my husband to learn how to make green chile this good I would be in heaven. Fresh ingredients. Margarita has a distinctive taste that is really good. A gem in Alamosa. Highly recommend.
Food was delicious!
Food a service are below sub par. Wish we tried somewhere else. It’s a Taco Bell with an angry lunch lady for a waitress
