They put a tea bag for a gallon of tea in my single tea cup. I couldn’t drink it. My boyfriend ordered a coffee and there was no coffee in any of the coffee bar gallons: she passive aggressively said “ itll be 5 minutes”. His coffee cup was also FILTHY. It looked like it was taken straight out of the dirty dishes sink. I asked for a cup of hot water to dilute my outrageous tea and she went out of her way to clean the entire bar before pushing one button and giving me my hot water: then tried to make me feel like it was a big deal when given to me. By that time my food was already cold. It felt like the two girls working there were angry and did not want to be there. Anything we asked was greeting with bad energy. It made the atmosphere uncomfortable. Not good energy in this place. Tea tasted like you bit straight into a plant. You couldn’t drink it. No coffee at a coffee shop. Treated poorly when asked for coffee after paying. The eye rolls and passive aggressive energy was simply ….. weird. Bad service. Bad coffee. BAD TEA. We felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave and when we asked for a to go box the worker rolled her eyes and finished a conversation with someone from the back and just shook her head saying “ hold on”. It felt like we were unwanted there or there was an elephant in the room we couldn’t see. Overall uncomfortable and won’t be going back.

It already looked like the best spot in town for a good coffee and breakfast and it definitely exceeded expectations! Todd was working his butt off and had such a great attitude, even with the rush of people. The food was delicious - my bf said it was the best chorizo he’s had in a while and my bread pudding french toast impressed us both! Great service. Great food. Delicious coffee
We will totally be back next time we’re passing through

Nice place to eat breakfast or get a sandwich for lunch. It was counter service only when we went, and the sandwiches were good.

Tried to eat here last Saturday. Got there at 11:45. After 30 minutes of ordering I had to ask for our drinks. Then after an hour plus, food came out 1 or 2 plates at a time. Party of 9. Pancakes for 2 kids. Got 1 plate so the 2 kids shared it. And then finally got the 2nd plate. At 2:00 2 of us got a refund and our food never came. So we left. Sister asked to see the manager and was told she was to busy. Pretty pathetic. Only 1 waitress of 3 or 4 was friendly. Will never go back. And yes other family members left review also.

What a gem in the heart of Alamosa. The decor is darling. The food was tasty and fast and they served our lattes porcelain cups! We'll make this a regular stop passing through.

My family and I went to the Roast this morning for brunch. Party of 9. We waited probably 30+ minutes for our drinks, and over an hour for our food. None of the food came out at the same time…They brought the plates 2 at a time, and they were probably 10+ minutes in between each set of plates. By the time a few people were done, a few people were just getting their meals (which weren’t right). We got there at 11:45am, and didn’t leave until 2:00pm. 2 people with us never received their meals after TWO hours..they got a refund and left. The Wait staff wasn’t overly friendly in the beginning, but became extremely rude about halfway through this experience…because we were all getting frustrated and hangry. Rather than trying to make it better, they got attitudes and didn’t help us any more than they had to. Right as we were leaving another couple, was also getting a refund due to never receiving their food order. This wasn’t my first bad experience at the Roast, and I don’t intend on returning for another.
I hate to leave bad reviews, but today I waited 15 minutes for an overly sweet latte...with no apology for the wait.
Walked in 1 hour 45 minutes ago and still don't have all of our food. Two of the family members just got a refund and left. Two are completely finished and Two are just now eating. Really? Then most of the staff got nasty attitudes , asked for the manager and was given an email because she's too busy.
