The waitress was very nice although she seemed like she was not focused at anything she was doing . My family of four stopped in for a quick lunch . There was only one other table occupied which should have been a clear sign . It took over an hour to get the food. We had cheese stick as an apatizer They were cold in the middle (not microwaved long enough . But after driving all day my kids inhaled them any way as they complained . When we got the food it looked very old . The French dip meet looked like it was made days ago . My youngest ordered buffalo wings and got fried regular , I ordered the “Viking” sandwich and it was a cheap bun and the square frozen chicken patty you get from dollar general or something . We were so tired of waiting we got what we could down so we could get back on the road . This meal for the 4 of us was $100.00, if I could give negative points I would for the food. But the waitress was sweet as could be.

So we live in Denver and every time we go down to Alamosa We like to eat at this pub... the food is great... love the ASC Burger Chile strip so good. However a few times that we have gone the bartender is super Rude. We sat there because it was my birthday and that's where I chose to eat. After an hour later and the table that was there before us getting only on plate taken to the table in 5 minute increments I realized there was a problem. the waitress was pleasant and new cook poor guy wasn't getting help from the bartender who seen that this new cook needing help I got dirty looks from that same bartender. It's a shame.... because this Bartender who has been working there several years is the reason we will not be back....he used profanity. Towards us as customers. I didn't feel like I deserved that for my birthday and sitting there an hour. I tipped the waitress. And we left and as we walked out the door he was screaming at us. We won't be back while he works there. He had all the opportunity to help this new cook a lot sooner and failed to do so

$15 A&C double patty burger with home fries is massive and delicious. It has nearly the same price as the fast food. The same dude waiting tables is always friendly and on top of things. It’s jot as fancy as the Ruby Slipper, but it’s a heck of a lot more reasonable, so I couldn’t care less about fancy.

I think this place is underrated. Food came to the table hot. Good portions. Home fries were delicious. Sweet potato fries were delicious. Ruben was delicious.

I'm not big on sandwich places, but what I can say is. There fries are very good. Specifically their beer battered fries. Not too much potato flavor, but a good balance. I had a fish sandwich and it was a good quality fillet. Much better than McDonald's. About close to Wendy's Alaskan cod sandwich. Service....wasn't great, but I will keep in mind my seating choice was in the dance hall. Despite that an employee did see me and my date sit, but did nothing until I spoke with him over 20 minutes later. (Keep in mind where you seat. It's not necessarily their fault)
